The adventure tour kicks off with a picturesque drive through lush plantations of papaya, pineapple, and yucca at the foot of the stunning Arenal Volcano. Upon arrival at the “put-in” spot, a skilled guide will review the safety procedures and rules to prepare participants for their paddling duties. Once the rules are understood and participants demonstrate familiarity with the commands, the adventure begins. Between the rapids, there may be opportunities to spot monkeys, toucans, and other wildlife native to Costa Rica. At the midway point, there will be a break to enjoy delicious snacks and tropical fruit on the riverbank, surrounded by the tranquil and majestic beauty of the rainforest. After the snack, it’s time to tackle the rapids again for more thrilling excitement. At the conclusion of the tour, participants will be welcomed with a refreshing beverage and a dry towel, followed by a delightful, traditional Costa Rican lunch.
