Nice full day tour with lunch included - Highly recommend them and the tour. This was the trip of a lifetime and I am glad everything went well. From the moment i booked the tour, I got a detailed itinerary on what to expect from the tour along with my pickup details. Please be minded though, they just offer transfers from hotels within the centre of Puno, fortunately I was in a hotel within. The guide was incredibly knowledgable and shared many insightful information about the place, culture and history. The second island we visited was very nice and calm and offered captivating views of the lake. The first island, was the touristic floating islands which was a unique experience although a bit touristy. The guide was always along with the group giving every detail about the place and culture.

Small group and great guide - Just returned from this full day trip of Lake Titicaca and it was perfectly organised. I was in a small group and the guide provided exceptional assistance throughout the trip. He gave us an in depth insight into the local life and how it remains untouched even after the colonial era. We were served lunch at a reaturant in Taquile. The food was authentic with quinoa and local beans and the view was absolutely amazing.

Unforgettable full day Lake Titicaca Experience with Planet Odysseys (Guide Abel) - We did the full day Lake Titicaca tour with Planet Odysseys nd it was esily one of the most memorable days of our trip. From the very begining, everything felt well orgnized and smooth, cleat communication, punctual pickup and a friendly team that made us feel comfortable right away. A big reason this day stood out ws our guide, Abel. He was professional, warm and genuinely engaging. Throughout the tour he explained the history of the Lake Titicaca and the local traditions in a way that felt ntural and interesting. He also made sure everyone in the group was doing well, kept the timing on track without rushing us, and was always happy to nswer questions. The visit to Uros floating islands was fascinating. Seeing how the islands are built from totora reeds and learning how life works on the lke gave us a whole new appreciation for the culture and resilience of the people there. Abel helped us understand the story behind what we were seeing, which made the experience feel more meaningful then just tking photos and moving on. After tht we continued to Tquile Island, and the scenary was bsolutely stunning, wide lake views, fresh air and peaceful atmosphere that feels far from busy touris routes. The walk is very doable at a comfortable pce, nd Abel managed the group really well, giving us time to enjoy the views while lso shring cultural insights about Taquile´s textile traditions nd dily life. It felt authentic and respectful, and the community was welcoming. Lunch was another highlight. The meal was tsty nd satisfying, and the setting made it even better, simple, locl and exactly the kind of experience you want when visiting a plce like this. The whole day had a great balance: cultural learning, beautiful landscapes, and enough time at ech stop to truly enjoy it. Overll, Planet Odysseys delivered an excellent Lake Titicca day tour. Well timed, well guided, and genuinely worth it. If you are deciding which company to go with, I would absolutely recommend them, and if you can, sk for Abel. He made the experience feel personal, informative, nd unforgettable.

Magnificent Lake Titicaca - I came here simply because it’s the largest lake in South America, located in the Peruvian Andes along the Peru Bolivia border, but it turned out to be one of the best places I’ve ever visited. Every sunrise and sunset transforms the landscape into a painting of vibrant colors reflecting off the lake's surface. The surrounding area offers incredible hiking opportunities with panoramic vistas at every turn. I can highly recommend Planet Odysseys and especially its wonderful guide Ricardo for everybody who want to do the Titicaca Lake tour.

Unforgetable experience - Lake Titicaca is a truly magical place. Its vast size, high altitude, and deep blue waters are breathtaking. What makes it even more special is the unique culture and way of life that thrives around the lake. It is one of the most mesmerising experiences in life. If you have not, visited, it is a must-visit place. Titicaca people are very kind and they like to tell story about their place. My advice is to visit also the islands and to sleep there for at least one night. A fascinating mix of old and modern culture. Well worth the visit.

Two island delight - Arranged by our tour company, pick up from hotel direct to boat in harbour, after an hour got to one of the floating islands, where we had a comprehensive tour of the island, with construction details explained , even tasting the reeds it was built of! Then there were reed boat trips around the island for an extra charge or the opportunity to buy local souvenirs. We then sailed to Taquile island, where you hike slowly due to the altitude difficulties up to the top of the island to a local restaurant for a locally produced meal, where the guide talked and showed us local clothing and customs. On the way there you pass a large field where locals were performing traditional dances and more souvenirs were available.
