This is one of the lake’s few natural islands. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the island’s captivating culture, which is recognized on UNESCO’s intangible heritage list. Enjoy a delightful 40-minute walk to the main square, situated 3950 meters above sea level, where there will be time to take photos, visit the textile store, and observe traditional weaving demonstrations, including the creation of natural dyes from vegetables and minerals. The guide will provide insights into the island’s traditions, culture, and customs. Conclude the visit with a lunch featuring typical Peruvian cuisine before embarking on the return journey.
