Upon arrival, a walk to the summit reveals the impressive burial towers, or chullpas, some reaching up to 10 meters high. These ancient funerary structures were built by the Colla civilization and later used by the Incas, serving as final resting places for their elite.

Sillustani is not only an archaeological marvel but also a site of profound spiritual significance, perched on a peninsula surrounded by the tranquil Umayo Lake.
