At 8:00 a.m., the journey to the Uros floating islands commences. These islands are part of the National Reserve of Lake Titicaca, renowned as the highest navigable lake in the world.
The Uros people continue to preserve their unique culture and traditions, including artisanal fishing, particularly of the (CARACHI) and pejerrey. There are currently 75 islands, each well-organized.
To reach the next destination, a 2.5-hour boat ride will take you to the natural island of Taquile. During the trip, you can enjoy views of the mountain range.
The visit to Taquile will last approximately 2 hours, with an additional hour to savor a delicious traditional lunch by the lake. The tour is expected to conclude around 5:00 p.m.
