Receive safety instructions, complete check-in and liability forms, and be assigned your reserved vehicle (ATV, Buggy, or Kayo). While waiting, explore the local artisan market and get ready for the ride.

• Macao - Embark on an off-road ride through rural trails and countryside paths until reaching a traditional plantation.

Here, discover how Dominican coffee, cacao/chocolate, tea, and mamajuana are produced, followed by tastings of all products. Purchasing these items is entirely optional.

• Los Hoyos del Salado (Cenote) - Continue the ride to Los Hoyos del Salado, a natural Taíno cave filled with crystal-clear freshwater.

Take a refreshing dip, jump into the water, or simply enjoy the scenery and take photos before continuing the adventure.

During high season, this area may be shared with other tours, and independent local vendors may be present. They are not part of our operation.

• Macao Beach - Ride through open countryside trails before arriving at Macao Beach, one of the most iconic and natural beaches in the region.

Enjoy time to relax, rinse off, take photos, and experience the natural waves of this unspoiled shoreline.

• Macao - After the beach stop, return to the ranch where you can view tour photos and browse souvenirs before heading back to your hotel.

Begin your journey at a traditional ranch in Macao, a genuine Dominican community away from the resort areas. After checking in and a brief safety briefing, indulge in tastings of chocolate, coffee, tea, and mamajuana, then select your vehicle.

The buggy is simple to drive and offers a muddy thrill, the ATV provides a more technical ride with less splash, and the Kayo is the premium choice with enhanced power and comfort.

Remember to bring a bandana and sunglasses, as the trails can be dusty or muddy depending on the weather.

Travel through countryside off-road trails to a natural cenote in El Salado, take a quick dip to cool off and capture some photos.

Independent local vendors may be around, just politely decline if you’re not interested.

Proceed to Macao Beach, unwind, rinse off, and take photos. Be cautious while swimming as the waves can be strong.

Return to the ranch to view and purchase tour photos and explore local souvenirs, if desired.
