Great fun, family friendly. - All of the staff involved were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed this excursion so much. It was so much fun. Even our children were dancing and having fun on the boat. We enjoyed massages on the beach on the island.

The Language Barrier held no influence!! - I had a very good time on the excursion to Saona Island in the Dominican Republic, and I want to give a huge shoutout to the incredible team who hosted us. Out of 30 people, I was the only one who spoke English, but the tour guides went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and included. They consistently checked in with me, ensured I understood everything happening, and offered to translate whenever needed—even though I’m a native New Yorker and can handle Spanglish pretty well! Their attention to detail and genuine care made the experience unforgettable. From start to finish, they made sure I was taken care of, which speaks volumes about their professionalism and hospitality. Unfortunately, I forgot to get all their contact information. If anyone knows how to connect with them—especially on WhatsApp—I’d love to get in touch for future vacations I plan to take with family and friends. Great service, poor destination. - I would use the company again. The tour leaders looked after us well and made sure we were safe, even in bad weather for traveling. The natural swimming pool and first beach were beautiful. Saona Island wasn’t what we thought it would be. The beach was rough and the bathroom there was disgusting and unusable.

Overall, a pleasant experience. - We were surprised on the fact that we rode the catamaran all the way to the island and on the way back we were in a cramped speed boat. A little girl pooped herself on the way back, so the ride back was a tad unpleasant. Overall the experience itself was 8/10. Could have given a better bar but you can't win them all. I would definitely do again and recommend to others.

Very scary and unsafe - Was very unusual from the start. Stopped at a gas station, dropped off some of the passengers at at gas station ( Spanish) 7 of us English only passengers left on mini bus. Stopped shortly after and picked up a man who was a little rough looking who was supposed to be our fluently English speaking guide. ( definitely was not) Continued on at a very slow drive with our 4 way flashers on as van was unable to continue due to engine issues. We had to pull over and wait until we were able to continue. Finally arrived at dock (late) as other’s were waiting. Took a small boat out to the catamaran. ( looked nothing like the picture on your site) It was raining at this point, catamaran was very crowded. We asked of life jackets which we felt were not enough for the # of passengers and crew. Thunder, lightning, winds and heavy rain for most of the 1.5 hour trip to the island. No where to go for real cover as the canopy leaked and was held together by ductape. ( if I could upload pictures taken I would) Other people from Peru and other parts of the world were also very scared, saying they just wanted to go back. We finally arrived at the island, had to board another small boat to reach the island. Food provided on the tour was very good. Spent approximately 1.5 hours on the island out of an 11 hour day. A lot of time transferring from one boat to the other. When it was time to leave the island, we had to wait for a larger boat to come as the 2 smaller boats were unable to come in to pick us up due to the waters had because very rough. Unfortunately one of my party was knocked into the water as 2 only staff were trying to board passages as well as hold onto a very heavy, large boat. Thankfully, other than her being totally frightened, sand fulled and bruised she was ok. I could go on and on about how strange, unsafe this excursion was. It should have been cancelled!! It definitely was not an excursion that I would ever recommend to anyone. Unsafe for sure as well as definitely not for us a great experience. I truly believe a total refund should be provided as well as a total investigation into this cruise operator. Please note!! This is not the 1st. Time we have booked with Viator.com, but definitely not sure if we would book or recommend Viator to others. This experience will be forever etched in the 4 of us girls.

Do Not Buy - Tony our tour guide very nice but this was the most unprofessional thing ever referring to the company he works for. Bus broke down had to switch had us out since 5-7am didn't GET to the dock until 11 then had us waiting for an hour next to some dead fish!!!. Boat comes at 12 , life jackets on the floor , they using a dirty mop to clean the seats right in front of us.The experience from there is questionable saona island should be a good and calming time def come just another tour. Nothin about my time was relaxing but I enjoyed myself in a way.

Highway to hell - The bus sent to us broke down in the highway.Tire blew. Our 8am trip brought us to the boat at 11am we left at 730. I have photos of dri ers outside the bus. No air on bus loud music.tour guide spoke Spanish. We rode NO CATAMARAN. that is the reason why I will see refunds when in the states. Jut a large party boat with no offer of drinks. Not even water. I was embarrassed I spoke so highly of this excursion No CATERMAN. I am sure many complaints will win be heard .How do we get a refund???
