Total Monteverde experience - This excursion was a total experience not just zip lining! It included a butterfly sanctuary tour, a sloth exhibit , reptile & 8 hanging bridges thru the rainforest which made it a total experience! The zip line team and guides at the Selvatura Park in Monteverde Costa Rica were professional, well educated and made the entire experience safe . Throughly enjoyed our day !

The 16 zip lines are... - The 16 zip lines are exhilarating and require a little hiking in between. Dress for rain. Lots of people on our tour were shivering with the cold. The Tarzan swing is optional but very fun. We enjoyed the butterfly and sloth habitats.

10/10 even from a 15 yr old girl ;) - My daughter was a little nervous and everything that did made her comfortable. I website said you needed to be under 250 lbs to go and we were worried as he was over that but he just needed and extra piece. We didn’t see any animals (even birds) but it was so fun. My 15 yr old even gave it a 10/10!
I did the Tarzan swing. I was a little worried about it since there wasn’t anyone in front of me to watch. The rope caught me quicker than I thought which was good! All the employees were great!

Fun Nature Theme Park - A well-maintained, well-run, safe and fun way to get a taste of the rainforest, learn about its animals, and get some thrills as well. I was very nervous before ziplining, but the staff at the park made me feel completely safe and helped me relax and have fun. They minimize waiting as much as they can, guiding you on over a dozen different zip lines, plus an exhilarating Tarzan swing. The hanging bridges are a nice way to see the top of the forest canopy, though we didn't see many birds or animals. The sloth refuge is very worthwhile, since you can't get up close to those animals in the wild. We were quite exhausted by the time we got to the butterfly and reptile tours, and could probably have done without those. The restaurant is tasty but expensive (as are many tourist eateries in Costa Rica). Definitely a day well spent!

Zipping through the tree canopy - One of the most beautiful “theme parks” ever. Our group of 5 spent most of the day exploring the zip-line adventure, the tree top walkways and the butterfly garden. The zip-line crew was most impressive. Not only did we feel safe, but the crew also provided explicit instructions, encouraged us (some of us needed a little encouragement) and offered good humor. These guides work really hard to make sure folks are comfortable and have a good time! The ziplines and walkways afford stunning views of the forest. We had the good fortune of spotting white faced monkeys as we hiked the well-kept paths. The butterfly garden was huge with a variety of colorful species. Our guide was both interesting and informative. Even the food was good (check out the carrot cake)! The only thing I wish I had known was how much walking was required for the zip-line and how steep it was going to be. We were fine (including four of us aged 65-71) but it was a surprise. Overall, a unique fun experience.

Absolutely awe inspiring - My family and I had a blast, we got there and there was a huge line but reception moved very fast. They provided lockers for anything you wanted to leave behind. They provided transport to the zip line starting point, they explained everything and had a safety review it was very thorough. The staff did everything for you. All I had to do was have fun. The zip lines we an amazing experience I plan to do it again. The sloth habitat was wonderful and educational. We also toured the reptile and butterfly habitats. I was disappointed. The treetop bridges provided amazing views and a wonderful walk through the rain forest..we got lunch right after but I have to be honest the food was mediocre for the price. There was only 3 of us and it was roughly $50.00 a piece. Ibut over all the experience itself in the park was awesome inspiring. I recommend anyone who is looking for fun and adventure to check it out. Just bring your lunch.

Unforgettable adventure - The zip lining was amazing. The staff are efficient, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The experience of seeing Monteverde from the tree tops was transforming. We also toured the Butterfly space with a terrific guide, who educated us about these magical creatures. An unforgettable day.

Great time! - Out family (TripAdvisor only gives a Family with young children and Family with teens option, so I chose friends) which is my husband and I and our adult children, had a great time here. We did all the activities here and loved them all (again, TripAdvisor only let us select certain options, not the one we actually did). Our guide, Dylan, for the Sloth and Butterfly Garden was fabulous as were our guides for the zip lines and the reptiles and amphibians exhibit. Highly recommend!

Exciting experience in the rain forest - The service overall was excellent. We did all the activities. Zip line was well organized and enjoyed them a lot- my son did the Tarzan rope and loved it. The bridges are a wonderful walk in nature: we were fortunate to see a couple of quetzals in their habitat. Reptiles and sloths tours were informative and wonderful experience. The food at the restaurant is delicious and service outstanding (Elmer was excellent). The gift shop has good variety. Parking was great and safe since we had all our bags in the trunk. They offered great photos service and now we have wonderful pictures of the experience

Highly reccomend - It was super fun. We had the all day pass, and we got to do so many fun things! We got to see butterflies, sloths, and reptiles/amphibians. Then we went ziplining, which had almost no waiting and felt very safe and fun and had amazing views. We had lunch at their restaurant and hiked on some hanging bridges with amazing views. Great thing to do if you are in the Monte Verde area.
