Great Hanging Bridges Tour - George is one of the best guides. So informative and friendly. We had a wonderful time with him. We loved the hanging bridges. He does many tours. I highly recommend!

Knowledgeable, Friendly, Creative Tour Guides! - We did two private tours with George of the Cloud Forest. From the start, months before we arrived in Monteverde, George emailed with me extensively to help plan our experience with him. Despite this, nature had other ideas. When the day came for our tours, it was pouring rain and very windy and cold in Monteverde. The in-depth animal and ecological tours we had planned weren’t possible. George was not daunted, and instead came up with ideas on the spot and saved our day! We toured the hanging bridges (in the rain and wind!) and George taught us about the plant life and the regeneration of the rainforest. He brought electronic microscopes and binoculars, and entertained the kids with an endless amount of facts. In the afternoon, he came up with an alternative tour that was much more “up-close and personal” with local life, agriculture, and wildlife. We walked the topography and witnessed the environmental aspects that he had told us about in our first tour. George was very open and responsive, and I enjoyed discussing the past and future of this part of Costa Rica where he was born and raised, and which he clearly loves. He was very patient and adaptable, and easy-going with my kids. We will definitely book him again when we return! Highly recommend!!

One of the Best Ever! - Vinnie was the best guide! Vinnie was very patient with my friend and me- we are both afraid of heights. We overcame our challenge with Vinnie's help. By the 4th bridge we were very comfortable. It was a very relaxing walk with lots of stops to hear the birds and see animals through Vinnie's telescope. Vinnie was concerned about our wants & needs to make sure we were safe, comfortable and had everything we needed. AND we learned so much about the history, geology and biology of Monteverde... unbelievable. On of the best tours we booked in all our travels around the world!!!
There was some confusion about the price of the trip, but the company was very honorable. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone and everyone. I would put it on a "Must See & Do" list!

Lovely guided tour - Hanging Bridges - Wonderful tour of hanging bridges - very educational. Our guide showed us many birds, animals and flowers we would not have otherwise seen on our own.

Exceeds Expectations! - Such an amazing tour! George has so much knowledge to share about the forest and its wildlife. He’s an amazing photographer and has a great sense of humor (and good taste in music 🤘). Wildlife is unpredictable, but he found the two birds I most wanted to see- the beautiful Quetzal and the Bell Bird!!! And he took amazing videos and photos for us to take home. We can’t thank you enough :)

Very educational and interesting.2 thumbs up - George was extremely knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his job. I absolutely loved the tour. I feel i know so much more about the cloud forest and its inhabitants. He was exvellent at spotting the birds and got us great pictures. Highly recommend.

George of the Cloud Forest - Master guide - George came highly recommended, and surpassed our expectations. George has over 20 years experience leading tours into the Monteverde Cloud Forest. His friendly personality is matched by a wealth of Cloud Forest knowledge. We had a wonderful time and learned and saw so much. I highly recommend George and his son, George Jr. We were so impressed that we booked a second tour of Curi Canchi Reserve, and San Luis Reserve this time with George Jr. as our guide. Fantastic experience.

Being High Left us High - We were met at the entrance by our guide, George, who it turns out is an absolute expert on the flora and fauna of the area. My wife and I were the only two on the tour and George patiently answered every question we could throw at him. The views from the hanging bridges are beautiful and interesting; and, on one bridge, we had the pleasure of meeting up with an entire family (or two) of monkeys. Their antics added to the overall great experience.
