Should not be missed. - AWESOME! One of the highlights of our family trip. My husband and I were traveling with two college age kids. The Canopy/ zipline tour was exceptional. Our group of about 20 were escorted by about 8 staff who saw to our equipment and to our safety as we covered the course. It ran smoothly.
We were blessed with a beautiful day and views forever across the jungle as we slide up to about a half mile across the canopy.
This was my second time zip lining and the experience will ruin you for all future experiences. It was exhilarating, but also peaceful and beautiful. If you have been to Disney, this is Soar'n in reality.
Recommend to anyone who is comfortable hiking for about 30-40 minutes in the Costa Rican jungle on managed trails. While the distance between lines was short, there were many which created a need to walk a bit.
I'd recommend this are a priority experience for most travelers to the area.

Great. - A perfect experience: Good organization, very friendly and helpful staff. The guides are very fond of children and took great care of our 5 year old daughter and gave her unforgettable experiences!
The safety standards on the Canopy Tour are high, everything is carefully controlled.

Amazing Zipline and Hanging Bridges, but Skip the Sloth Tour - Selvatura Park offers one of the best and most extensive zipline tours we’ve ever done. The ziplines are long and thrilling, and the staff were fantastic—ensuring safety and taking great care of everyone. The hanging bridges walk was equally enjoyable, with beautiful views, some wildlife sightings, and just the right amount of quiet to snap great pictures and soak in the surroundings. It felt like a well-rounded adventure in nature.
However, upon arrival, the staff tried to upsell us the sloth tour, and we regret doing it. While you’ll see sloths, the experience is incredibly overpriced and unnecessary. Sloths can be spotted in many national parks for free, and here they are in confined spaces as rescued animals, which didn’t feel in line with Costa Rica’s natural, free-ranging wildlife experience. Definitely skip this add-on.
Overall, an amazing experience for the ziplines and bridges, but be mindful of what extras you choose.

Had a great time - We took the gold package which included the zip line and the hanging bridges walk.
The zip line experience was enthralling and relatively easy for a newbie like us.

You won’t regret it - The zip lines were amazing and sooo worth it! Beautiful scenery on the hanging bridges as well. We enjoyed it all very much! The staff was all very helpful and made it even more enjoyable. Would def recommend to all!

Great fun and in safe hands - Canopy tour was a great experience! I found the staff to be fun and friendly but ensured safety at all times. The zip lining was awesome with a line up to 1km in distance. A couple of the lines are tandem which meant I had to wait around as a solo traveller at times to be able to go which I didn’t know beforehand. The Tarzan swing was worth the wait and an added adrenaline rush near the end of the canopy tour. The hanging bridges were really lovely with great views. It wasn’t crowded when I went so could really enjoy being amongst nature. Great service from being picked up at my accommodation (on time) and dropped off. The canopy tour itself took longer than I expected (probably due to number of people and wait times) so allow 5 hours if doing the Gold Package and longer if you want to visit other facilities on site.

Wonderful experience! - We had a great time! The Hanging Bridges hike was beautiful and the bridges are well-maintained. The guides at the Sloth Habitat and Butterfly Garden were friendly and knowledgeable. The zipline team at the Canopy Tour are top-notch, friendly, professional and focused on safety. Park staff and the drivers are helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend a visit!

An original way to explore the Bosque Nuboso - We went to Selvatura to do both the zip lines and the hanging bridges. It’s one of the many places in Monteverde (or nearby) where you can do these activities. We chose it because of the good reviews and because it’s deeply embedded in the forest.
The zip lines are a lot of fun and offer a unique perspective of the forest. There are two optional activities. One is the “Tarzan” jump, a freefall from about 25 meters high. It’s worth doing. The other is a “Superman” zip line, where you’re suspended upside down. Also very fun.
The hanging bridges are nice, but after doing the zip lines and seeing the views we had, they seemed a bit underwhelming.
It’s not a cheap place, and depending on when you go, it can get quite crowded.

Overpriced - We did not see a lot of wildlife, the zipping was terrific, the sloth exhibit was the best opportunity to see the 2 toed sloths up close, and while it was my favorite part, I was highly disappointed that you only got 20 min inside. We saw more wildlife at our bed and breakfast.
