Setting Sail to Isla Tortuga

The sun was just beginning to rise over Puntarenas as my wife and I made our way to the port. The salty breeze carried the promise of adventure, and we were eager to explore the wonders of Isla Tortuga. Our guide, Isabella, greeted us with a warm smile, and we instantly felt like part of her family. The short drive to the boat was filled with laughter and stories of the island’s rich history.

As the day drew to a close, we reluctantly boarded the boat for the journey back. But the adventure wasn’t over yet. We spotted crocodiles lurking in the mangroves, their eyes just visible above the water. Dolphins danced in the boat’s wake, and we even caught a glimpse of a sea turtle gliding gracefully beneath the surface.
