This was an amazing... - This was an amazing experience. We had Crazy Alex for our guide and he was fantastic, a true animal whisperer. He called the monkeys onto the boat and pointed out many other animals, plants and flowers. He even located a sloth! This is a must do if you are in the area.

Talk with the Animals - We had Crazy Alex as our guide! He was wonderful, very knowledgeable and very funny! It was awesome to see him have the Tiger Heron make its sound. This was a well worth it trip!

Once in a life time family experience - The Monkey Mangrove Tour was an unforgettable experience and easily one of the highlights of our trip! This 2-hour, family-friendly tour was perfect for our family of five and something we’ll be talking about for years. The capuchin (white-faced) monkeys were absolutely incredible. They sat right on our laps, jumped onto our shoulders, and even explored the boat—it felt like a once-in-a-lifetime, up-close wildlife encounter. Watching them move around so freely and comfortably was truly magical. Our guide, Steven, was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and the mangrove ecosystem, explaining everything in an engaging and easy-to-understand way. On top of that, he was funny, kind, and wonderful with our family, making everyone feel comfortable and included. We did the 8:00 AM tour, which was perfect. The sun wasn’t too bright yet, the temperature was comfortable, and best of all, it felt very private—we had the entire boat to ourselves. It made the experience even more special and peaceful. If you’re visiting the area, this tour is an absolute must. Highly recommend the Monkey Mangrove Tour, especially with Steven as your guide—an amazing, memorable experience for all ages!

Monkeys everywhere! - excellent!! Crazy Alex was amazing! Calling all the animals. One of the big highlight of our two weeks! and what more can you ask for but Monkey kisses!!

Awesome Monkey Experience! - This was a fun and well organized half day trip. Our transportation to and from had a friendly driver who was punctual and helpful throughout. The tour guide found numerous monkeys along with other local wildlife. My favorite part was the monkeys actually interacting with the boat and passengers.

Fun and Scenic :) - I had a wonderful time on this tour and the drive from Jaco to the place was not bad. The tour guide, Alex, was wonderful, funny, and very knowledgeable about all of the animals. He walked into the forest BAREFOOT to call for the monkeys! He’s a dedicated tour guide that ensures the comfortability of both the people and monkeys!! As a solo traveler, I felt safe and would recommend this tour to others.

The animal whisperer crazy Alex made it happen! - This was an awesome experience, from our awesome transport driver Benny, to our boat Guide "Crazy Alex". We saw lots of beautiful scenery, animals, and fish. The monkeys were very cute and comfortable with people. Me and my wife got a kiss from the monkeys! We also spotted a sloth way up in the trees. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to see the white face monkeys. I would also recommend you request Alex as your Guide, I think he really made the experience special!

Monkeys!! - Crazy Alex is amazing, and so is his team. Very knowledgeable and we saw monkeys, sloth, lizards and birds. The monkeys ate bananas 🍌 from our hands!
