• Castelli of Pyrgos - Explore the charming village of Pyrgos, perched atop a hill. Ascend to the summit where the Venetian castle offers a stunning panoramic view of the caldera and the island.
• Symposion by La Ponta - A brief drive will take the group to the traditional village of Megalochori, where you can visit the renowned “Symposion,” a fascinating workshop showcasing traditional Greek musical instruments, rich with insights into Greek mythology and music. Please note, this stop is not included from October 15th to the end of March.
• Akrotiri - The group will then drive around the Akrotiri castle, pausing briefly for photos to capture the breathtaking views of the castle and the caldera from the island’s southern side.
• Perissa Black Sand Beach - After leaving Akrotiri, enjoy some leisure time at Perivolos, the island’s most famous black sand beach. Relax, swim, or savor a local meal.
• Castelli of Emporio - Proceed to the village of Emporio, wander through its quaint streets, and admire the best-preserved Venetian castle, once the island’s medieval trade hub.
• Artemis Karamolegos Winery - Following the castle visit, unwind in an old canava and sample local wines.
• Firostefani - The group will then make a brief stop in Firostefani, perfect for capturing stunning photos of the iconic Blue Dome and the Rock of Skaros, the former capital during the Venetian era.
• Oia’s Main Street - The tour concludes in Oia village. Discover the narrow alleys, old captain’s houses, unique cave dwellings, and romantic chapels. End the day with a spectacular sunset over the caldera from within Oia’s Venetian castle. After a delightful day, you will be transported back to your hotel.
