Pyramids of Giza - Embark on a full-day tour to the Giza Pyramids, where you will explore the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Visit the Valley Temple, where King Chephren’s body was mummified, and get an up-close view of The Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Continue your tour at the Egyptian Museum, home to the world’s largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art. The museum boasts over 250,000 genuine artifacts, some dating back 5,000 years, including a special exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamun, featuring treasures, gold, and jewelry buried in his tomb for over 3,500 years until its discovery in the 1920s.

Khan Al-Khalili - Conclude your day with shopping at the Khan El Khalili bazaar, renowned for its high-quality items at affordable prices.

At the end of the day, your guide will accompany you to the train station for your journey to Luxor. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay on the train.

Luxor

Temple of Karnak - Enjoy breakfast on the train. Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be met by local representatives and transferred to the cruise. Board before lunch and enjoy a meal on board. Visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. Explore the Luxor Temple’s courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great. Travel by carriage or bus to Karnak, a series of temples built during different reigns. Begin at the Avenue of Sphinxes and visit the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 massive columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis III, the Temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarab of Amenophis III, and the Sacred Lake.

Enjoy afternoon tea, dinner on board, and a belly dance show.

Luxor

Valley of the Kings - After breakfast, visit the West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Explore the Necropolis of Thebes on the Eastern bank. Cross the Nile to the Valley of Kings and visit various dynastic tombs and the Temple of Deir El Bahari. On the return, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues of Amenophis III facing the Nile, and visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

Lunch on board, then sail to Esna. Enjoy afternoon tea and a disco party.

Aswan High Dam - Breakfast on board. Sail to Aswan. Visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries, and the Temple of Philae. Enjoy lunch on board. Sail on the Nile by felucca around Kitchener’s Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Enjoy afternoon tea and dinner on board.

Aswan/Cairo

Abu Simbel Temple Complex - Breakfast on board. Disembark after breakfast.

(Optional, not included) $75 per person for a trip to Abu Simbel: Visit the Temple of Abu Simbel, a colossal structure built by Ramses II (19th Dynasty) and saved from the Nile’s inundation. The temples, carved from a sandstone rock cliff, feature representations of the deities to whom they were dedicated on their massive façades. Nearby, the small Temple of the King’s wife Nefertari, dedicated to the goddess Hathor, was also saved.

Cairo/Alexandria

Bibliotheca Alexandrina - Breakfast on the train. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met by local representatives and transferred to Alexandria. Begin your tour in Alexandria with a visit to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the world’s largest library with 8 million books (visit its open court and free museums). Visit the site of the ancient lighthouse, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, now home to the Castle of Kaitbey. Explore the Royal Gardens of King Farouk, Egypt’s last king, and visit the city’s largest and most beautiful mosque, Abbo Elabbas Mosque. Optional stop for lunch, then visit the Church of Saint Mark, the oldest church in Africa. Drive along the Corniche for 30 km to view the entire city of Alexandria from the seaside, including the old harbor where 7,000 monuments were found underwater. Visit the old downtown of Alexandria and stroll through the city center, built by Alexander the Great.
