The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Continue the tour at the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, showcasing the world’s largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art. It features over 250,000 authentic artifacts dating back 5,000 years, including a special exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamun, with treasures, gold, and jewelry buried in his tomb for over 3,500 years until its discovery in the 1920s.
Khan Al-Khalili - Proceed to shop at Khan El Khalili bazaar, renowned for its high-quality items at very affordable prices.

Temple of Karnak - Enjoy breakfast on the train. Upon arrival in Luxor, meet and be assisted by local representatives and transfer to the cruise. Board before lunch. After lunch on board, visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. Explore the Luxor Temple’s courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great. Travel by carriage or bus to Karnak, a series of temples built during different reigns. Start at the Avenue of Sphinxes, visit the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 massive columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis III, the temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarab of Amenophis III, and the Sacred Lake.
Enjoy afternoon tea, dinner on board, and a belly dance show.

Luxor
Valley of the Kings - After breakfast, visit the West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Explore the Necropolis of Thebes on the Eastern bank. Cross the Nile to the Valley of Kings and visit various dynastic tombs and the Temple of Deir El Bahari. On the return, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues of Amenophis III facing the Nile, and visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
Lunch on board, then sail to Esna. Enjoy afternoon tea and a disco party.

Abu Simbel Temple Complex - After breakfast on board, disembark.
(Optional, not included) $75 per person for a trip to Abu Simbel to visit the Temple of Abu Simbel and return to Aswan. The colossal Temple of Abu Simbel, built by Ramses II (19th Dynasty), was saved from the Nile’s inundation and is among the glories of ancient Egyptian monuments. The temples are carved from a sandstone rock cliff, with representations of the deities to which each was dedicated on its massive façade. Nearby, the small Temple of the King’s wife Nefertari, dedicated to the goddess Hathor, was also saved.
Transfer to the train station for an overnight sleeper train to Cairo. Dinner on the train.

Cairo/Alexandria
Bibliotheca Alexandrina - After breakfast on the train, arrive in Cairo, meet and be assisted by local representatives, and transfer to Alexandria. Begin the tour in Alexandria with the Library of Alexandria, the world’s largest library with 8 million books (visit its open court and free museums). Then, visit the site of the lighthouse, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, now home to the Castle of Kaitbey. Visit the Royal Gardens of King Farouk, Egypt’s last king, and the city’s largest and most beautiful mosque, Abbo Elabbas Mosque. Optionally stop for lunch, then visit the Church of Saint Mark, the oldest church in Africa. Drive along the Corniche for 30 km to see the entire city of Alexandria from the seaside, including the old harbor where 7,000 monuments were found underwater. Visit the old downtown of Alexandria and walk through the old city center, experiencing the real cold city of Alexandria built by Alexander the Great.
