You will then be transported in a private, air-conditioned vehicle (latest model) to embark on a full-day tour of the West Bank of the Nile River. Here, you will explore the Valley of the Kings, Deir El Bahari Temple, Colossi of Memnon, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Enjoy an excursion to the Necropolis of Thebes on the Eastern bank. Cross the Nile and drive to the Valley of the Kings to visit the tombs of various dynasties and the Temple of Deir El Bahari.
- Colossi of Memnon - On your return journey, make a stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous seated statues representing Amenophis III, facing the Nile.
- Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a mortuary temple of Ancient Egypt located in Upper Egypt. Built for the Eighteenth Dynasty pharaoh Hatshepsut, who passed away in 1458 BC, the temple is situated beneath the cliffs at Deir el-Bahari on the west bank of the Nile, near the Valley of the Kings.
Lunch is included between visits at a local restaurant, offering a full meal for each person, though beverages are not included.
- Luxor Temple - After lunch, continue to the East Bank to visit Karnak and Luxor Temples. Enjoy an excursion to the Luxor Temple to admire its courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great. Proceed by carriage or bus to Karnak.
- Temple of Karnak - Then, visit Karnak, a series of temples built during different reigns. Begin at the Avenue of Sphinxes, visit the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 gigantic columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis III, the Temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarab of Amenophis III, and the Sacred Lake.

Great guide in Luxor (Ahmed); unique sleeper train experience; poor transportation service in Cairo - Ahmed! Ahmed! Ahmed! You made our Luxor experience amazing! Great guide and an even better person! We had extra time due to the train’s early arrival and Ahmed improvised by booking us a private boat ride on the Nile. The sites in Luxor are incredible and Ahmed’s pleasant personality made it even more enjoyable. The sleeper train was a really cool and unique experience also.
As for the transfers on the Cairo end: we received a text an hour before our scheduled pickup, saying our driver was waiting for us. We scrambled to get to the hotel lobby, only to find out that they were at the wrong hotel. Then on the back end, there was no one to pick us up at the train station in Cairo/Giza. Quite a disappointment.
