An outstanding tour and guide! - A fantastic day tour with an exceptional guide. Fraser was friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He tailored the tour to our interest in history, and was able to put the village of Falkland and Lindores Abbey in the context of Scotland’s fascinating past. Falkland is a beautiful village that oozes authentic charm with a marvelous parish church and the substantial remains of Falkland Palace, visited by Mary, Queen of Scots. Many Outlander scenes were filmed in Falkland as well. Not far away is Lindores Abbey Distillery, a modern small-batch whisky distillery on the grounds of the ruins of Lindores Abbey, where whisky was first made in Scotland in 1494. The tour and tasting were wonderful. Hopscotch Travel was a pleasure to deal with in every way. I highly recommend them.
