Beautiful island and impressive bridges - Introductory info: The 90-minute boat tour includes the three bridges over the Firth of Forth. We had additionally booked the visit to the island of Inchcolm. It costs more and takes over 3 hours in total, but is (basically) worth the extra charge. On the island there is a quite well-preserved abbey and seagulls as well as seals to visit with a bit of luck. We were lucky with the weather, with the typical Scottish weather such a tour would not be recommended. It is also important to read carefully when booking that additional landing fees of 26 pounds (for 2 adults and 2 children) are due, and that you get the paper tickets before boarding the boat. Otherwise you'll be sent back and allowed to queue again.

Excellent trip to the Island - Will just review the boat trip here and the Island on its own page. On a visit to Edinburgh and friends they booked this trip to the Island. They had in fact never been before. They had booked online and just had to present booking at the small hut. We hadn’t long to wait for the boat and sat ourselves at the back (non-pointy end). It was a gorgeous day and very busy on the boat. On the way there and back there is a commentary given. On the return the information about the bridges is fascinating. There are snacks, a bar and toilet. We saw seals and a Puffin. The Captain detouring to see seals. Best of all the guy that walked around sitting with passengers or standing and joking and giving additional information. All in all a great boat trip👍

Firth of Fourth sightseeing Cruise - Great morning out on the sea with plenty to see & learn about the historic facts of the Firth of Forth. Excellent photo opportunities along the way with an opportunity to hop off for few hours exploring on Inchcolm island. Good solid clean boat with refreshments available

‘Must do’ 3 bridges boat trip in Firth of Forth - What a wonderful way to spend 90minutes when in Edinburgh. This boat trip was so interesting with an excellent commentary packed with facts with regard to build, era and size of the bridges. Even on a windy damp day with a mild sea swell, the views were stunning. An absolute joy. Oh and a shop with refreshments too!! Thank you guys.

Beautiful views - Overall this tour was great. Beautiful sights and great commentary from the boat. It had a bar and eatery on board. We were lucky the weather was beautiful and sunny. We saw sea lions sun bathing on a buoy and lots of sea creatures and birds! And Gnome island was cute. My only complaint is that Viator did give us the option to purchase the Inchcolm island stop, missed opportunity.

Fun day out on the water, but watch out for misty clouds… - Unfortunately, some misty clouds came in and made the bridges hard to spot, but the boat was clean, the crew was great, and aside from the cloudy mist, an enjoyable experience.
