Embark on a journey to whisky heaven with our Ultimate Whisky Experience tour, a one-day adventure departing from Edinburgh. Explore two renowned distilleries: Dewar’s and The Glenturret, and unwind with a peaceful visit to the charming village of Aberfeldy along this Scottish Whisky trail.
*Please note, Glenturret Distillery is closed in January, and the tour will include a visit to Blair Athol Distillery instead.
- Minimum drinking age is 18 years old. ID required.
- Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark.
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.

Fantastic Whisky Tour with Ewan - I recently joined T he Ultimate Whisky Tour, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! Our guide, Ewan, was outstanding – he was incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining, and made the whole tour so much fun.
He explained everything in a way that was both informative and engaging. Plus, his sense of humor kept the group laughing throughout the day!
The tour itself was well-organized, with plenty of opportunities to sample some fantastic drams and learn about the history and craftsmanship behind Scotch whisky. The scenery along the way was stunning, making the whole experience even more memorable.

Stevie was an excellent... - Stevie was an excellent tour guide! He had lots of fun knowledge, good music, and great driving. Even the non-whisky drinkers in our group of 5 had a great time! Because we were able to leave 15-20 min early, we were able to have a few little stop offs to visit some Hairy Coos, see the Sma Glen, and get in a view of the Forth Bridges. I had been hesitant to do this excursion because the Dewar’s tour felt like it would be a very basic (aka very popular) distillery as someone familiar with it from overseas, but was very pleasantly surprised by how in depth it and interesting it was! We had time to sample more at the bar after the initial 3 chocolate and whisky drams for pairing. Glenturret was also excellent! The two whisky’s we sampled showed what great variety there can be in the region! The 19-seater Mercedes we were in felt very new and was fairly comfortable to travel in (some of the tours were in full size coach buses but this one was not). I am a little wider and was in a row that was also very short, so felt a little squished both in my knees and hips, but it was nothing unmanageable. 10/10 would do again!

Perfect whiskey distillery tour - I enjoyed the whiskey tour with a perfect guide, Mr. Conner! Even I joined the tour by myself, he is very nice all the time and gave me some useful information. My only regret is that I didn’t get his jokes since I’m an English learner.

Glad to have done it! - Scot was our guide and he was very caring and warm and he

Awesome day with Karis and Timberbush tours - Karis was awesome as a tour guide / bus driver. She brought so much enthusiasm to the trip and her stories. Her love of Scotland definitely came through. We never would have seen what we did or experienced the distillers without this tour. It was the perfect length of a trip. Love the scenery of Scotland.

Whisky Tour - We were on the Whisky tour with our guide Ewan. We had a very nice tour through the beautiful Scottish scenery. Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly with a nice playlist to match. The distillery tours were informative and whisky tastings...well there were no bad whiskies!

Cliff was an outstanding... - Cliff was an outstanding guide on our whisky tour! His deep knowledge of whisky-making and passion for the craft made the experience truly special. He explained everything clearly, from the history to the tasting notes, and made the tour fun and engaging for everyone. Cliff was friendly, approachable, and happy to answer all our questions. Thanks to him, I learned so much and enjoyed every moment. I would highly recommend Cliff to any whisky lover!
