A great scenic trip and two great drivers. - I read previous bad reviews about the second segment of the trip from Mt Cook to Christ Church, so we were a little worried prior to the trip. However, our experience was great for both segments of the trip. Both drivers seemed eager with their jobs. Telling the passengers histories about each attraction that we visited and the sites we drove by. The transition at Mt Cook was very smooth. The second driver ( sorry that I forgot the lady’s name)dropped the passengers off at each respective hotel we stay in at Christ Church central. My wife and I were dropped off at around 7:30PM. There was only one passenger left after us.

More than expected! - Chose this company/tour because it’s the only one offering three hours at Mt Cook, but ended up receiving much more than that. Lynette was an energetic, knowledgeable and welcoming guide. The tour program was perfect, with well-planned stops and just the right amount of time at each location. A great experience!

Great guides and even better views! - The trip with both Cheeky Kiwi and Cheeky Kea was excellent. The number of stops (and the locations) was just right – enough to get to stretch our legs but not too many to slow things down. Both guides provided informative and entertaining commentaries. The whole experience was something to remember.

My parents loved it! - Booked this for my parents, they thoroughly enjoyed their time. My parents did a 1 hr of the hooker valley trek which was well worthy. They got some good pictures of the scenery on the way to Queenstown as well! Definitely recommend!

Well oiled machine! - Great communication, very efficient, beautiful stops. Xavier was a great team leader on the Queenstown to Mt. Cook part. Joseph was equally good on the Mt.book to Christchurch leg.

Almost perfect - This was a 2 part tour. Picked up at Christchurch by Hannah who was fantastic and gave lots of info, tips and good vibes. The hike was harder than expected but fun to push myself. At Mt Cook we then switched to another van (Cheeky Kea, with Grant) and from then on it felt more like a transfer than a tour - very little info given. It was all very comfortable though and I would still recommend this tour. Just wish the 2nd half had been as interactive as the first.

Beautiful views but not the most pleasant ride - The drive was what we expected, long. With a transfer at Mt. Cook midday. We were a bit taken back by our driver Kimberly. When we arrived at Hooker Valley Trail she stated that “she wasn’t a shuttle driver” and would only make one trip in the middle to transport guests back to the village. This made for challenges either the changing weather conditions. With the heavy rains I would have hoped for a more accommodating driver who would be empathetic to the varying needs of the guests. Additionally, I am sensitive to smoke and she stated that she could not do anything about a guest who was smoking close to the van and bringing the odor back into the enclosed van for the long drive. This made for a most unpleasant experience driving to Mt. Cook after a brief restroom stop. The second half of the trip was improved (despite the rain) with the transfer to Cheeky Kea.
