Great experience! Do it - Very safe and fun! Felt totally in good hands with the guides. The river was level 4 at the time and my wife have never tried rafting before, but had an unforgettable day!

Great experience and adventure - Due to lack of rain we opted to tackle the El Chorro. What a great experience and glad we did this tour. Nicholas and team was excellent. I highly recommend this while in Manuel Antonio.

Go! Safe and fun! - This is with Tucanes Tours and was excellent. I've done about a dozen rafting trips in the US and this was just as good as any of them. Our group of 8 had a safe and wonderful time. My guide, Leandro was awesome! They feed you a typical Costa Rican meal afterwards and you can purchase pictures for $40/boat. Highly recommend!

Great day on the river! - Our white water rafting trip was fantastic. Our guide, Mario, knew the river like the back of his hand. So much fun. Impressed with the entire operation from the guides, to the photographer, the exceptional safety standards and Super Mario our shuttle driver. A don’t miss this experience for anyone visiting the Quepos area.

You MUST do this!!! - One word- EPIC! We had a wonderful time in Costa Rica- fishing, zip lining, relaxing but THIS ALONE would have made the trip!!! This was an all-in-one experience- nature, traditional Costa Rican meal, adrenaline, sight-seeing, everything. This was by far the best white water rafting I’ve ever done- included cliff jumping and swimming with the rush of class V rapids. Mario and Orlando were FANTASTIC. 1000000% recommend!

Constant Rapids with Experienced Guides - The whole trip was great. From the beginning, the team was professional. The ride to the raft felt very safe, something I can't say of some other rafting. The whole rafting crew was really experienced and they would point out animals, foods, and plants. The ride was so much fun. Between rapids there was a spot to cliff-jump. I had so much fun. The food at the end was really delicious and we even saw 20+ toucans while eating, though I heard that isn't the norm. Would recommend 10/10

White Water Rafting - We had an absolute blast white water rafting with Ronny as our guide! He was super friendly, cracked jokes, and even taught us some cool history about the area. It wasn't just about the thrills, but the chill moments to take in the awesome scenery too. Can't wait to do it again - if you go rafting, go with tucanes tours, we had such a great time.

One of the best... - One of the best activities we did in Costa Rica. The river is wonderful and so refreshing and the team was super fun and very professional, we were in very good hands! They took the time to tell us about the flora and fauna as we saw it on the drive there as well. I recommend if you a looking for a thrilling experience to see the backcountry !

Do it!! - These are the guides to go with if you are doing El Chorro. They are informative, accommodating, and lovely humans in general. We had so much fun! Bring your sense of humor and adventure! They look after your valuables (leave them in the van) and your safety while on the river! We went during March which is dry season. We also raft and kayak whitewater regularly so please don’t go to this expecting a float. This is for somewhat physically active people but you don’t have to know whitewater rafting to go and if you fall out there are safety measures. Just be open-minded. They are so great!! Pura Vida!
