Unbelievable - Outstanding. We were stuck in traffic and were very late but tour operators were Devoted to meeting us when we finally arrived.. “Dylan” was a great entertainer and vastly knowledgeable in his craft. I ran low on tip $ …. Please tip more for me :)

A MUST-DO if you’re looking for a night tour! - While in Costa Rica, my wife and I embarked on night tours in La Fortuna, Monteverde, and Manuel Antonio. All were great, but this one in Manuel Antonio was simply spectacular and the best one we experienced. Our tour guide, Dylan, was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and passionate about the Costa Rican wildlife. Before heading out in the rainforest, we visited different parts of the city itself to view and appreciate the night wildlife. It added a truly unique perspective to see how these animals truly live their lives so close to humans. Our trip through the rainforest was simply a dream. There’s no other way to put it. Animals we saw on our tour included the following: - Toucan - Kinkajou - A variety of monkeys - Tarantulas - Scorpions - Shrimp - Frogs - Cockroaches - Skunk - Opossum - White-Tailed Deer - Crocodiles - A variety of lizards and iguanas - Katydid - Leaf-Cutter Ants There was then one animal that we came across that made this tour a memory we’ll never forget. We saw a Fer-De-Lance, which is the deadliest snake in Costa Rica and one of the most venomous in the world. Our tour guide Dylan ensured our safety while also allowing us to appreciate the beauty of this snake and its habitat. To further practice safety, Dylan also mentioned how he never has more than five people in his group. This also adds uniqueness to the tour, as the other ones we were on had larger groups. We felt much more connected to the wildlife and the rainforest on this tour. I truly cannot recommend Dylan and Manuel’s Tours enough. If you’re in the Manuel Antonio area and are seeking a night tour, book this experience. I promise that you WILL NOT regret it!

A walk through the forest at night - No two night hikes in Costa Rica are ever the same! There’s always something new to see and experience. Our guide, Bruce, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and clearly knew his way around the spot. We saw plenty of wildlife, including whip scorpions, frogs, birds, scorpions, tarantulas, walking sticks, and more.

Fantastic nighttime reptile / amphibian tour. - To say Manuel went above and beyond putting us on reptiles and amphibians would be a monumental understatement. He’s a great guide and great guy whose passion and enthusiasm regarding ALL Costa Rican fauna is contagious!. Contagious in a good way that is. I look forward to returning to Quepos for more nighttime adventures with Manuel…. Doug Taylor, Illinois USA…..

Mop is the best - Mop was amazing and helped us see so many animals we hadn’t seen in Costa Rica. We saw kinkajous, tarantulas, a scorpion, and a sloth coming down to go to the bathroom at night that was 5-10 feet from us. Highly recommend this tour!

So many animals and Andrew was the best guide - We were so lucky to see a wide variety of animals combined with the best guide, Andrew! He was so knowledgeable, funny, and inclusive! He made sure everyone was able to get a chance to look at everything including others in another group. We were a lucky group that saw a sloth right in front of us as we caught her on her bathroom break. This tour was a highlight! So many animals and Andrew’s pictures were phenomenal!

Good but not perfect. - This was an interesting and exciting trip. We saw a lot of spiders and frogs. And very lucky we saw a little mouse with its kids, which is very rare. The tour guide said he hasn’t seen like this for many years. The trip itself is very interesting. However, the trial starts approximately 30 minutes later than expected and no one contacted me on Viator.

AVOID at all costs - AVOID this company at all costs. They called me 10 minutes before the start of the tour to tell me they had to cancel because I was the only person to book on the tour. I don’t care if I am the only person, you should be prepared to run the tour if someone spends good money on booking it. They then offered to take me out the following morning for a 2 hour tour. They never showed up! I waited at the agreed time for an hour, they didn’t reply to my texts or to my calls. Please avoid this company at all costs, they don’t care about solo travellers. I only had a couple of days in Manuel Antonio, and Manuel’s Tours wasted half my time here. Terrible.
