Thank you Luis - Luis was a great guide who showed us lots of things we wouldn't have been able to find on our own. He was very knowledgeable and taught the group about different plants and animals as well.

An experience not to be missed! - We had the most wonderful experience on this guided tour! Our guide Albin Gutierrez was so knowledgable, spoke very good English, and was great with the kids. The park was very crowded the day we went, so he made the effort to brings to one of the beaches that was less crowded too, which was much appreciated. He also took photos for us of the up-close views of the animals which look amazing! We saw so much wildlife, large and small, dragonflies, crabs, sloths, and monkeys. We felt like we were in such capable hands, and thank Albin for being such a great guide. I highly recommend this tour, especially with kids (ages 8 & 11). I would recommend bringing a re-usable water bottle, as plastics aren't allowed in the park, there are water re-fill stations around the park. Bring a light weight towel and a bathing suit for enjoying the pristine beaches. Miraculously, it wasn't mosquito-y, although my son did get bit once but that's it! Bring bug spray just in case, and flip-flops for the beach. A hat and good walking shoes are a must. You can buy food from the cafe inside the park, and there are bathrooms and foot rinsing stations as well. This is an experience not to be missed!

You definitely need a... - You definitely need a guide in this National Park if you want to see the smaller, less common animals and birds. The Sloths and White Face Cappuchins are easy to see everywhere. Our guide was called Albin and he was excellent. He showed us animals that we would never have seen such as Macaws, bats, lizards and turtles.

Poor experience with our tour guide. - We were extremely disappointed with our guide, Bruce, who failed to provide a satisfactory experience. Despite our expectations, he lacked professionalism, enthusiasm, and a willingness to assist us in spotting animals and birds. Unlike other guides, who were actively engaging with their groups and sharing their knowledge, Bruce adopted a laid-back approach that was underwhelming. Furthermore, he was reluctant to communicate in English, frequently asking if we wanted him to speak in English, which added to the frustration. When we expressed our concerns, Bruce became defensive, raising his voice and using abusive language. This unacceptable behavior prompted us to terminate the session prematurely and continue on our own. Based on this experience, we would not recommend Bruce as a guide to anyone.

Inexperienced guide - Great park but Bruce our guide seemed to be training on the job passing monkeys, sloths, and other attractions. He did not seem too enthusiastic about doing a tour. I would recommend getting a guide that has been referred…otherwise, at your own risk.
