Manuel Antonio park - Get a guide. We missed our tour so went out on our own. We tagged along as we could to hear other tours and got pretty good at animals spotting, but would have enjoyed the eyes and scope of the trained guides. Lovely park, gorgeous throughout and then you end at a gorgeous beach. So worth the drive if you're not staying nearby.

Fantastic guided walk with Andrea - Andrea was our guide for the Manuel Antonio walk and she was absolutely fantastic. She was very friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and shared so much interesting information about the animals and plants throughout the tour. She also took amazing photos and videos for us, which she kindly shared with the group afterwards—such a great touch! The pace of the walk was perfect and never felt rushed, allowing us to really enjoy the experience and take everything in. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Andrea as your guide!

Incredible - We had such an incredible day. Our guide Felix was very knowledgeable and passionate about all the wildlife. He pointed out sloths, monkeys, spiders, birds, lizards and crabs. I would NOT visit the park without a guide. We have have missed most of the animals we saw.

The park is amazing! I... - The park is amazing! I did not like that the guide led us down the main path, where EVERYONE else was. It felt crowded and uncomfortable, at times even difficult to pass other groups. I would have loved if the tour guide took us down one of the quiet paths away from the crowds. We did not spot too many animals. The guide had a slight accent and was hard to understand at times. I also would appreciate a slightly faster pace. I did like the size of our small group. And we actually ended up seeing more animals by the beach where we hung out after the tour.

I recommend choosing a less touristy park - Mixed impressions. I liked the girl who coordinated the tour from the office. Everything was to the point, and communication was excellent. The guide, Kevin, himself, left a less than stellar impression. He seemed disinterested in the tour. He didn't say anything interesting and answered questions rather sparingly. We were significantly delayed at each stop, even though everything could have been organized much better. The park was very crowded in the morning, but we still saw animals.
