Such a special place to visit! - We had the best day with our tour guide, Jimmy! The truck ride to Los Campesinos was full of beautiful scenery and lots of information from Jimmy. He is very passionate about sharing his knowledge about the forest, animals and insects. This guy knows his stuff! We learned SO much from him. The swim in the natural pool was heavenly and lunch was delicious and so fun. Corona and her family are just the sweetest people. On top of all of that, Jimmy took lots of photos and videos of us and everything that we saw and then sent them to us. I can’t recommend this tour enough. It was amazing!

Guide was eager to take... - Guide was eager to take us around. The whole trip was little strenuous because of the pathway and not having good roads. Food was good

Campesinos tour and local experience - We took the Campesino tour with our guide,Jimmy, on a heavy rainy day. He drove safely and gave us a lot of informations about Quepos and the surroundings. Once in the Campesino reserve, he offered to take pictures of the walk in the forest and on the hanging bridges. Colors were amazing. We couldn't swim at the waterfalls because there was too much water, but the tour is worth taking anyway. The warm welcoming of Corona and Victor at the lunch time in their home was a unique moment in our trip. We ate home-made casado, drank sugar can juice and visited their garden. This local experience made the Campesino tour exceptionnal.

Jose is the best guide! - We had such a good experience with our guide, Jose! We were fortunate to be with a very small group and we received a lot of special attention. Jose knew exactly what to look at and even stopped during transport from the fall to point out wildlife we never would have seen otherwise. This was a really fun and authentic experience.

Campesinos Waterfalls and Hanging Bridges - My boyfriend actually wanted me to cancel this tour because we had just done a waterfall tour two days prior and he thought it would be boring and repetitive. Boy was he wrong and said he was so happy I didn’t listen to him. Our guide was Jimmy and he was sooo knowledgeable and it’s so obvious how much he loves nature and animals. We saw so many different animals from anolis, to birds, to iguanas, you name it and he knew so much ! I also felt very safe with him on the road. The drive is rough but I felt safe the whole time. We crossed some beautiful bridges and swam in a waterfall. We ended the day with a typical lunch at one of the locals homes and it was one of the best meals we had during our trip. Jimmy was also really great about taking pictures for us. I would definitely recommend this tour and Jimmy to anyone.

Camposinos bridges and waterfalls. - Amazing experience.😀 Our Guide was really friendly, knowingable. Explained health benefits of regional fruits and veggies. Our lunch contained regional specialties. Sugar cane prepared fresh was delicious, and we had a chance to produced on our own. Lady who prepared food and coffee was really friendly and willing to share with everything she had to offer.

Amazing!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely the best!! - My husband and I went on this trip and it was absolutely amazing!!! The hanging bridges were breathtaking, right by the waterfalls! The swim near the waterfall was beautiful and the tour guides were so patient and informative and nice! We saw so many birds and 2 different types of Tucans. The area is stunning! The food was incredible! The juice and making and drinking the sugar can juice was an amazing experience. We saw so many fruit trees and even tried some of the plants used for medicinal purposes! 100% recommend!!! Hands down my favorite thing to do here in Costa Rica!!!

One of the Best Experiences in Costa Rica - This was not just a tour but an experience. I was able to go with just one other solo traveler, as well as the guide, which made it all more personal. The drive to the location was stunning as I enjoyed the rocky roads and the surrounding views. No words can accurately express. Upon arrival to the farm, we were allowed the freedom to take in the views, the feeling, and the moment without being rushed along by our guide. We then hiked around, which included a very long swinging bridge. I had previously went to Rainmaker and experienced the bridges there, but this was next level! Afterwards, we hiked a bit further were we came upon waterfalls and swimming pools, where I was the only one who went in, but once again, was not rushed by the guide, which I greatly appreciated. We then traveled to meet the family who hosted us for lunch and to their home. We were given an in depth introduction and explanation of the medicinal plants and herbs on their land. This was definitely a highlight! The hosts Corona and her Husband were so welcoming and informative of which I greatly appreciated. We then completed the experience and headed back to the hotel. One of the best days in Costa Rica!!

Unforgettable at Los Campesinos - My girlfriend and I spent a morning and afternoon at Los Campesinos, and it was a day we’ll never forget. Seriously — this was one of the most fun outings the two of us ever shared together. Our adventure began when tour guide Jose picked us up in his 4 x 4. The three of us then took a scenic drive through gravel roads brimming with tall palm trees, leading up to the lush ecological reserve of Los Campesinos. Once arriving, we embarked on the hike, seeing dozens of animals from rare birds to iguanas on our walk through the hanging bridges, trees and woods. Along the way, we caught glimpses of majestic waterfalls. Stopping for a refreshing swim in Los Campesinos’ small lagoon, the two of us swam for about 30 minutes, encountering fellow travelers who were extremely kind and positive. Following the crisp dip, we completed our hike by dining at a small house on a hill. This is where a local woman prepared - I kid you not - the most delicious arroz con pollo one could feast on (a meal best washed down with the complimentary Brazilian guava juice provided). It was a meal that knocked our socks off and sent us to sleep. Swear — my girlfriend and I napped the whole way home to Quepos (thanks to Jose and the touring company for providing us with not just pick-up but drop-off). We’ll probably be talking about this meal, and day, for years to come. If you ever visit Manuel Antonio, coming to Los Campesinos is a must. I promise you— you’ll never regret it.
