Absolutely worth it! - This night hike in Costa Rica was unforgettable. Walking through the forest after dark and spotting glowing scorpions under UV light felt surreal, and seeing a red-eyed tree frog up close was pure magic. The Rainforest...At Night - Such a cool experience to witness the wildlife that comes alive at dusk and night! Our guide, Roger, clearly was passionate about the area and all the wildlife we encountered. He was able to answer any and all of our questions! The weather was perfect for our tour, and we were able to spot a myriad of reptiles, bugs, amphibians (saw a rare species of frog) and even a bat enjoying a snack on the underside of a large leaf! This tour was definitely a highlight of our trip in the Quepos area. Thank you, Roger!!

You won't regret it! Highly recommend! - What an unforgettable experience! Robert was our spectacular tour guide for the night jungle tour, and he truly exceeded all our expectations. Right from the start, he asked if we had spotted a sloth yet—we hadn’t! So, he arranged to meet us early and took us to see a momma sloth and baby! We even had the chance to stop and marvel at a bunch of playful monkeys along the way. My son, who’s 11, and my daughter, who’s 17, had the time of their lives! This trip became an amazing family memory, and that’s all thanks to Robert’s infectious enthusiasm. He revealed incredible wonders we would have totally missed otherwise and helped us snap breathtaking photos that looked straight out of a National Geographic magazine! With his vast knowledge and passion, we learned so much during our tour. We were so blown away by our experience that we booked him again a couple of days later for a day tour of Manuel Antonio National Park! Seriously, without Robert, we would have missed so many incredible sights! I HIGHLY recommend booking Robert with Travel and Birding!!! Costa Rica was the best family vacation yet! Pura Vida!!!

Night Tour with Travel and Birding - We had a great time on our night tour in a private reserve outside of Manuel Antonio National Park ( the actual park closes after 4 pm). Our guide was knowledgeable and was good at explaining everything in English or Spanish. We saw frogs, bats, sloth, macaw, opposite, scorpions, insects to name a few. Highly recommend doing a night tour!

Private night tour Manuel Antonio - I had a private night tour with Robert who arranged to go to a nice area near Manuel Antonio with look out point to see the sunset. We went out to look for the toucan bird and he was excited to look in every corner and go to spots to have a high chance of spotting them. Nature gave us a lot of other animals to discover. Robert is very knowledgeable and told me about all about the plants and animals we saw. We discovered colorful birds, monkeys, sloths, frogs, a snake, land crab and more. A very nice guy that I would recommend for a tour any time!

Excellent night hike - Our group of 17’s night hike in Manuel Antonio was an excellent adventure . Our guides, Berny and Robert were extremely personable and knowledgeable, stopped to explain many details of the flora and fauna and, along with other creatures, expertly spotted toucans, a monkey and a sloth deep in the trees. They had telescopes available so those of us with mere human vision could see the wonders of nature as well, and they also took photos through the scopes to provide to us. We hiked up through the lush jungle in daylight and were treated to a great sunset at the top, along with refreshments. The hike down in the dark was a very fun adventure as we continued to search for creatures in the night. I felt very safe and taken care of the whole way, and the sloth that wandered across our path just at the end of our hike was an added incredible bonus! I definitely recommend this excursion!
