Amazing surfing! - We had a great experience with Dante. The staff was excellent — patient, encouraging, and truly hands-on. They worked one-on-one with everyone in our group, which made a huge difference. Getting up on the board felt intimidating at first, but the team broke it down step by step and stayed right there coaching until each of us got it. No rushing, no pressure — just focused instruction and genuine enthusiasm when you finally popped up. Everything was well organized, equipment was solid, and safety was clearly a priority. It felt like a professional operation that also really cared about the experience. Would absolutely book with them again. 🌊🙌

1st time surfing, it was amazing! - My husband and I spent our 10th anniversary in Costa Rica. We went surfing with Dante’s Watersports, it was a fantastic experience! Luis the owner picked us up at our hotel, we each had our own instructor after a short lesson on shore. The guys were fantastic, they gave us chairs under an umbrella to put our stuff. We had a great lesson, it was so much fun. Neither of us had surfed before and we’re not in the greatest shape but we both managed to get up a few times on our boards. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to try it out. Bring some money because there’s food and drinks on the beach, the guys watch your stuff when you’re in the water. You don’t have to leave right after your lesson, you can hang out for the day, they have boogie boards to play on, and there’s a restaurant and bathrooms close by. I didn’t know that beforehand or we would’ve been more prepared to stay. The beach is amazing and the people are even better. Whenever you’re ready to leave just let them know and they have a car ready to bring you back.

Highly recommended - My girlfriend and I loved our time! Quick lesson and on to the waves. We both got up quick and had a blast spending the day riding waves. Very chill and go at your own speed. We took a break and had some pine apple and saw some sloths and cracked open almond pods to try almonds right from the tree, then back out for a few more waves. Highlight of the trip

Amazing surf lesson! - We had so much fun learning to surf here! The included hotel pickup was great and the instructors were super helpful and knowledgeable. The spot that they had was great for learning with small waves. Thank you for a great experience surfing!

Surfing lessons, lounges under a tree, and fresh cut pineapple, great beach, couldn't ask for anything more - Had a great day Luis was patient as a saint-i'm 80- by days end i was up on the board and riding-food&drink came to beach ahh

Great experience! There... - Great experience! There was one instructor for each surfer, so lots of one on one guidance. The beach was beautiful. We were picked up exactly on time.

Highly recommend - Fantastic day! My instructor was Sebastian. His English is excellent and he was incredibly patient with me. I am in my 70’s and not athletic at all. First he demonstrated proper technique and explained why you did things a certain way. Then off to the water! After many spectacular fails, I was finally able to stand on the board! It’s exhausting and exhilarating. A perfect day with the perfect instructor! Also the restaurant nearby delivers food and drink to the beach 😉

Amazing Surf Experience! - Amazing experience! First of all, just the beach access alone is worth it. We will probably go back just for the more private beach and to enjoy the delicious smoothies. Everyone involved was incredibly friendly and helpful. The surf instructors were the best though, I felt like I learned so much in just 2 hours and was able catch multiple ways thanks to their amazing help.

10/10 - 10/10 was so much fun, the instructors were great and funny! Got some fruit and a drink. Got to watch the sun set at the beach would definitely recommend, great for beginners!
