Pura Vida riding the rapids of the Savegre River - Arguably the best whitewater rafting experience I’ve had so far. Our guides were excellent and personable. The views from the Savegre River were impeccable and the rapids never stopped the excitement and thrill of the experience. Expect a very bumpy bus ride to the launching spot, but it’s just part of an unforgettable adventure. Many thanks to Mauricio, Bryan, Michael and Miguel for being top professional guides.

Rafting - Michael, Brian and the crew were amazing and so fun! We had the best time. Highly recommend! They taught about lots of plants and also made the rafting so much fun.

100% recommendable activity - We couldn't have ended our stay in Costa Rica in a better way. Monitors are the best: Bryan, Gabriel, Michael and another stronger dark-skinned guy whose name I don't remember. Thanks to them this experience has been unforgettable. If we go back, the Naranjo River will be next, and we will do it with them. Totally recommended.

Fun and exciting - It was a lot of fun. The guides were super friendly and pleasant, always with a smile on their faces and willing to help you with anything. Our guide, Brian, was very professional and very nice. There was also Michael, Gabriel and another one who was also very funny. I recommend it 100%. If you do it, keep your nails very short, as I broke one in half while rowing.

Thanks to Michael for taking photos of our rafting trip, to Mauricio for all his energy guiding us on the river, and to Miguel for the excellent 4x4 driving. The three of them make a great team, I would definitely repeat this experience. It's not just a rafting tour; along the way, they explained to us about the communities we passed through on the way to Savegre, and we learned about the flora there.

Great safe whitewater rafting - Amazing! The white water rafting was awesome , waterfall and good fruit snacks! Took my 8 and 12 year old and they loved it! Safe!

Epic Experience Tremendous Value - Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I am a business owner and can tell very quickly if I am dealing with a well run operation and Iguana Tours is first class. For an experience like this, you need to be with a great team and the people we were with worked so well together. The drive to the put-in was so picturesque. Gorgeous. The river was action packed the whole time. I’ve been rafting in Colorado, Tennessee and Maine; this was much better! There was a situation where one of the boats flipped over and those guys were so fast to get everyone back in their boat. It was impressive. I brought my 11, 13 and 15 year old and it was the best thing they did here in Costa. The lunch they served at the end was very good. For the cost, I don’t think you can get better value for any experience around here.

Gorgeous, fun, thrilling tour! - This was an awesome white water rafting tour! I enjoyed every minute of it. Juan Carlos was a great guide and made the excursion very enjoyable with his knowledge and humor. And don’t worry, Brian is there to rescue you if you fall in! He took great pics and we stopped at a waterfall, too. It was beautiful, fun, and a great arm workout! Then, a delicious lunch was served after. I would definitely recommend!

Awesome experience! - It was an amazing tour, so much fun for the whole family!! JC was so knowledgeable ,he had us touch, feel and smell so many native plants including cinnamon, oregano, lemon, palm tree oil, henna etc! He also made us feel absolutely safe in the water! Brian took amazing photos and videos of us, leading us on the way in his kayak. Michael was our splendid driver to and from the adventure!! 10/10 experience for the whole family!! Highly recommend!!

Private raft tour - Booked this tour 12 hours in advance. Picked up at hotel, guide explained the culture and areas and business on the way. Best customer service. The river was exciting! We stopped at a waterfall and were served fresh pineapple. Lunch was chicken fajita at the office after the ride. There was a tree blocking the road back to our hotel, but, they took very good care of us. My only regret is that I forgot to bring cash to tip them. Manuel and Bryan and the raft guide were outstanding!! Thank you for an excellent day!
