Better than expected. - Zohan was a wonderful guide who made the tour more better than I expected. The tour is demanding physically speaking but Zohan was very helpful and allways paid attention to everybody. He gave us a lot of information about the tribal life. He also added extras like the viewing of the sunrise over the see of clouds and ricefields terraces.

Awesome trip not to be missed - Travelled with Abraham tours (Abrahamtours.com). Sagada, was a visit to the hanging coffins, some caves, plus various other interesting bits then down to rice terraces at Banaue and Batad, good lunch’s, fascinating small museum, hike down to the waterfall ride on the roof of a jeepney and more. The rice terraces at Batad are amazing to walk through. This is an exceptional tour and can’t praise it enough. To be honest, I am not a fan of organised things, so all the more reason to recognise how good this was. A lot of it down to the tour guide , Zohan, who really helped understands the culture in the north. The bus trip up was 11 hours, then back down 8 as we’d travelled down a bit already. Long journeys, but manageable, the buses had space enough for me at 6ft, enough comfort breaks on the way for a 60yr old man . You have to remember that this trip is special as it takes a bit of effort to get there. The bus terminal in Manila 40 mins in the taxi from Makati where we were staying, but using Grab taxis ( the uber equivalent out here) very easy. Makati is very convenient when visiting Manila by the way, we stayed at Picasso residence which had 24 hr arrivals and left luggage so we left half our stuff here when we did the tour then came back a stayed a night and collected it before heading south. I am 60, keep sensibly fit and found it fine.

Excursion not to be missed - Very nice excursion from Manila. Our guide, Brian, accompanied us from getting off the bus in Sagada, until we got back on the bus from Banaue to Manila. We made this excursion in private group (3 people). Everything is fluid, everything is simple, the drivers drive efficiently and carefully, the guides are friendly and provide the answers that travel books cannot. Walk in Banaue and Batad rice fields, trek to Bangaan, pass through Bangaan elementary school. Jeepney ride. Special mention for Brian who has always had the right attitude in all circumstances: available, attentive, caring, considerate. Young as we love them. Good job.

Amazing places to visit. - Amazing places to visit. Sagada was on my bucket list and now checked. It didn't disappoint. Rice terraces are nice in photos but to see it in person is amazing! Hiking to see the hanging coffin is a challenge for us old people but we made it. Going to Batad town was a challenge due to wet, muddy and slippery walkway. But with the help of our guide Maily, we made it and enjoyed the stay at Batad.

You MUST see Sagada and Banaue for yourself! - This is a very physical tour with every hour packed with so much to see, hear, learn and hike to :). Zohan (also known as Marc), our guide, was the best guide I've ever had... so knowledgeable, so eager to share, and so passionate. I totally recommend this tour! Just make sure you've brought your walking legs, your courage, and your sense of adventure and openminded-ness. ZOHAN, truly you are THE BEST!!!

Amazing Nature and Tour Guide - We had an amazing time with our tour Guide Zohan. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture and made us feel very welcome. Good variance in activities such as spelunking in caves, to exploring in waterfall and trying local foods. A once in a lifetime experience!
