- Jade Cenote - We invite you to explore the Jade Cavern in Cozumel, a habitat for over 1,000 bats (rest assured, they are harmless and play a crucial role in the ecosystem). Access to this site involves traversing the island’s interior through uneven paths, eventually leading to the enchanting Chempita cenote. This small cenote, with its refreshing emerald waters, is a true paradise nestled in the jungle.
The Jade Cavern holds special significance for the Mayan culture, and the surrounding area features archaeological structures that reflect the Mayan religion and its pre-Columbian civilization.
