Private ATV Adventure in El Cedral with Cenote Swim, Tequila Tasting & the World’s Best Guide – Victor! - This ATV tour through El Cedral was absolutely incredible and one of our favorite experiences in Cozumel! It was just our group—two couples—so we had a relaxed, personalized adventure from start to finish. Our guide, Victor, was the star of the show. He was funny, kind, full of energy, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. He made us laugh the whole way through while also sharing the rich history of El Cedral. It felt like exploring with a local friend who genuinely wanted us to have the best time possible. Ask for Victor—you won’t regret it! The ATV ride was exhilarating, dusty, and so much fun! If you’re going, bring your own bandana or dust mask—otherwise, you’ll need to buy one on-site for around $5–6. At the ATV base camp, they collect a $20 USD per person access fee for El Cedral. They accept credit cards, though it’s charged in pesos and there’s a small processing fee if you pay by card. A major highlight was swimming in the cenote at Jade Cavern—a stunning underground river surrounded by rock walls and home to fluttering fruit bats above. It was peaceful, refreshing, and totally surreal. Not something you get to do every day! We ended the tour with a tequila tasting that was both educational and fun—perfect way to wind down. Everything was smooth and well-organized, from transportation to safety gear and water. If you’re looking for an exciting, off-the-beaten-path excursion with a small group vibe, this is it—and Victor takes it to the next level!

Fun UTV for teens & families with big kids - Fun time, my teen sons enjoyed the UTV’s a lot. It was cool seeing the ancient structures & hearing the history. Snorkeling didn’t happen, seemed like we’d have to figure out our own transportation back to our ship if we went so we opted to skip. The snorkeling wasn’t offered we had to inquire. I did t like that because it was advertised.

I would recommend that... - I would recommend that you inform your guest at least a week a head of time of the meeting place. We were arriving on a cruise ship and did not have cell service, therefore we were not aware of the meet up location, nor the $20.00 per person additional that was charged to do the ATV. You need to be upfront about that. The one thing that was great about the tour was our Tour Guide Victor. He was very informative. If you take this tour you need to request Victor.

Wet Thrill ride - It is not a leasure ride on a atv. More of a thrill ride. You will get wet and dirty. Great fun. We only had 3 atv in our group. 5 people total

the tour was good, but it... - the tour was good, but it went mostly through neighborhoods & on the road. We were expecting more of a scenic drive. We also didn't know to take swimming gear for the cenote. The tour did give a lot of ATV driving time which our kids enjoyed.

Nice time - The pickup was almost giving scam vibes but it was partly my fault because I picked the wrong cruise terminal for pickup. Tequila tasting was good, I ended up getting a bottle. Our tour guide was cool and made sure we were done well before my set time but nothing was rushed. My kids had a memorable first ATV experience, overall satisfied.

Save your money - Had a really bad experience wasn’t impressed for the amount of money we paid. We had a walk 10 minutes into heat just to find where we were supposed to go. There was no pick up at the resort like it said the bikes were in bad shape. very small no snack a tiny bottle of water warm it was no it was a bad experience. It wasn’t worth the money and I would never recommend it.
