Great mix of Adventure and Relaxation - Great mix of Adventure and Relaxation This tour was the perfect balance between fun and chill. Snorkeling at Palancar and Columbia was incredible, and El Cielo truly lives up to its name. The crew kept everything running smoothly and shared helpful tips along the way. Drinks and snacks were a nice touch too. Would absolutely recommend for a laid-back but memorable day.

I loved this tour, highly recommended! 🤗 - We did this tour with friends and had a great time. Chichén Itzá was the highlight, and our guide made it easy to follow and genuinely interesting, not just a quick walk-through. We had enough time for photos and to enjoy the site. The cenote stop was the perfect reset to cool off and hang out, and the buffet hit the spot afterward. Overall, it felt like a full, well-run day with no stress. This was one of our favorite days with friends in Cozumel. Palancar and Columbia were gorgeous, with super clear water and plenty to see. The guide kept everything smooth and made us feel comfortable the whole time. El Cielo was the best way to end the tour, just floating, relaxing, and taking it all in. If you want an easy, fun snorkel day with a group, this one delivers.

A great experience - This was our first time snorkeling and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The guides gave us a quick and helpful briefing, and then we were off to explore the reef. We saw many colorful fish. Highly recommend this for beginners or anyone new to snorkeling!

The best time - We had the best time snorkeling in Cozumel! The water was so clear, and we saw a huge variety of tropical fish and coral. The guides were friendly, professional, and made the whole trip feel safe and fun. Definitely one of the highlights of our vacation, don’t miss it!

Well, it goes like this - Our booked tour was moved from 1pm to 2pm on site, although we had booked 2 days in advance. The organization was total chaos at the meeting point were min. 150 people who had all booked. Our ship was occupied by 40 people, although the ship is designed for only 33 people. The boat trip was fast, lively and we arrived at the first spot within about 30min. The reef was disappointing for me, not very colorful and no special fish. At the second spot about 10min drive were the big starfish - unfortunately not anymore. At the last spot 5min drive - were the rays that was really unique. The life jackets must be worn all the time, even in the water, so that it gets cold quickly. The snack was ok and the drinks as described. The photos on the beach with the rays cost 500MXN and were ok - but it was 2min work and too much for that. Better take some underwater camera!

Adjust your expectations - The price of the tour (including the extra $18 per person port tax) seemed to be a good deal. We were not expecting a high end tour. We were a little surprised when after we met the tour operator, they sent us over to another tour operator called Andreas Tours. Where we were greeted by unfriendly staff. Shocked as everyone else was super friendly. We then waited over 30 minutes for them to fill the boat to capacity. I also signed up for an English language tour, but only Spanish was spoken. Not a big deal as my husband is proficient and translated for me. The tour was supposed to go to 3 snorkeling sights, but we only went to 2. Probably because of the initial wait. Also for some reason, they don’t provide fins and require everyone to wear a life jacked in the water. So if you are used to fins and the ability to dive under the water, this trip won’t be for you. The crew was friendly and tried to make the trip enjoyable. Before you dock, they pass around a bottle requesting tips and ask you to give a positive review. Overall it was an ok snorkeling tour. Just set your expectations.

Not recommended - While the wrote up was technically on par with the trip in terms of going to the locations listed and that ceviche, fruit and beverages were included (though not tequila or margaritas), the lack of customer experience, guidance from the leaders, functioning snorkel equipment, properly fitting life jackets (especially for kids) and working boat motors, really led to a disappointing experience. The pictures online also showed a catamaran, which is what we expected, though not in the write up, so shame on us. They did stop the boat when someone asked to go to the bathroom. We have taken many guided trips in Mexico over the last 30+ years and this would rank towards the bottom. After spending a lot of time researching different groups to travel with, we clearly picked the wrong one.
