In the Mayan language, Sian Ka’an translates to “Where the sky is born.” This is the name of the Biosphere Reserve situated in the southeastern region of the Yucatan Peninsula. Guests are transported by van to the base in Tulum, where they will board a truck to commence the safari. As we traverse the National Park, non-alcoholic beverages are provided, and our guides offer explanations in various languages while in the truck, until reaching the fishing village of Punta Allen. In Punta Allen, guests will board a boat to explore the mangroves, where they can observe a variety of bird species. Following this, they will have the opportunity to see sea turtles and dolphins in their natural environment. The tour also includes a visit to the world’s second-largest coral reef, with snorkeling equipment provided. Before concluding the boat safari, the captain invites guests to enjoy a paradisiacal natural pool with drinks. After this visit, we return to Punta Allen for lunch. Following lunch, the journey back to the hotels begins.
