Amazing Snorkeling Experience + Day in Jaguar Park - Fantastic experience that exceeded any expectations we may have had. From booking the trip to leaving the beach afterward, Tulum Snorkeling Services was top-notch in customer service. Several days prior to the trip, German messaged me with lots of information about getting to the meeting point and avoiding any missteps along the way. If you follow his clear and detailed instructions, it was be a breeze. He sent this info again on the morning of and we had our plan down on how to get there, leaving time to account for anything confusion, though there was none. We arrived at Jaguar Park and parked in the North Parking lot, which was free. We entered the park and took an electric vehicle (the park supplies this service to all visitors) to Playa Pescadores to meet our guide. Getting to the beach was super easy from the North Park entrance and the staff are helpful. The ride through the park is also beautiful! The boat ride out to the snorkeling spots was smooth, and has a beautiful view of the Tulum ruins. Our guide stopped the boat and took our photo against the backdrop, too! The first stop of the snorkeling trip was an area that had numerous turtles and massive rays swimming underneath us. Our guide showed us where the turtles were and they swan around us and were very friendly. There were other snorkelers but it wasn’t overcrowded, and we got to swim with the animals for about an hour. Our guide swam ahead of us and led us to the best spots! It was absolutely surreal to see the animals in their natural habitat, and some of the turtles even swam up to us and gave us a little pat on the leg! The second stop was a beautiful reef area that was full of thousands of fish of many types, sizes, and colors. Exploring the reef was incredible and our guide was extremely helpful here as well. It was great to have the contrast of the reef with coral and plant life alongside the first stop that was open water. They really picked the best spots to get the full experience. We swam here for a bit under an hour; perfect amount of time. I can’t overstate how in awe we were regarding the snorkeling and animal life. This was truly one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had in my life, and I’m very grateful to our guides and Tulum Snorkeling for giving us a one-of-a-kind lasting memory. Some tips I’d like to share: As stated in the description for this trip, you do have to pay the park entrance fee. It was around 455 pesos for each adult. My suggestion is to combine your snorkeling day with a visit to the park! We saw the ruins after our snorkeling trip, and did so by taking the same electric vehicle with other park visitors after we left Playa Pescadores. You can enter the ruins until 4pm, and they close at 5. Depending on how long you want to spend in the park (there are other beaches, the ruins, a museum, and shops) you could go before or after snorkeling. It’s a great way to get your money’s worth from the entrance ticket and check off an item on your Tulum list at the same time. It made for a perfect day. Thank you again to Tulum Snorkeling services for this trip. I can’t recommend this experience enough for anyone coming to Tulum, you will have a fantastic time and a deeper love of the ocean and marine life.

Fantastic Snorkeling off Tulum Beach - Our family of five had an unforgettable snorkeling experience just off the coast near Tulum Beach. We explored two different spots, each offering stunning underwater life. We swam alongside sea turtles and rays, encountered countless colorful fish species, and got an up-close look at vibrant coral reefs. We also spotted various types of large shells and admired the beauty of the corals in their natural habitat. The wonderful crew made the experience even better. The boat operators and the tour guide were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. They made us feel safe and welcomed, ensuring that we had the best possible experience.

An Amazing Experience! - Snorkeling here was incredible! We saw a wide variety of beautiful reef fish, several rays, and even a few sea turtles. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. I recommend arriving early or staying afterward to enjoy the restaurant at the meeting point—it’s a great spot to relax and grab a bite. Pro tip: Use the north entrance to the park. It has free parking and an electric shuttle that takes you right to the beach—super convenient!

Great snorkeling! - This was a great trip! We saw so many turtles and stingrays and fish. It was a little hard to figure out how to get to the beach since you have to go through Jaguar Park, but luckily the boat waited for us! Overall I would definitely recommend.

Great - Very friendly people and they gave us a good time. would love to come back in the non-seaweed season. The sea turtles were amazing and you saw a lot of stingrays.. Not so much tropical fish, but there was some too.

You’ll be disappointed - Our reservation was scheduled for 2pm. We were told to arrive 15-20 minutes early. We arrived at 1:30 to be safe. We didn’t get on the boat until 2:36. Apparently a woman on the boat before us brought her baby and the baby got sick. It says ages 5 and up so they could have said no, to avoid this delay. There is a nice restaurant where mom and baby could’ve waited. We saw 2 turtles and our entire trip was only one hour, by 3:36 we were back. I had my head down because the motion was rough and by the time I looked up we were back. I even asked him are we going to 2 places before we boarded and he said yes. Only one just like another review said. This was my children’s first experience ages 9 and 12 and it was so sad. I have had amazing experiences in Belize and Colombia. My son was the youngest and the guide wasn’t very attentive to him. I even saw other companies with helpful guides. It’s almost like he was on his own little tour he let us know where the turtles were just the two and that was it. We saw no fish or rays. There are so many positive reviews but the negative ones are unfortunately accurate. I was on the boat with other people and they also expressed their disappointment.

- After 40 years of snorkeling the Caribbean was the worst experience with a service. Find a local outfit rather than this.
