As soon as I set foot in the Ron Barceló rum factory, I was greeted by the warm and inviting aroma of sugar cane and the promise of a day filled with discovery. Our guide for the day, Hendrix, was a fountain of knowledge and enthusiasm, making us feel right at home from the get-go.

It was a treasure trove of delights, with a selection of cigars and Dominican cigars from the Aurora brand also available. As a lover of all things Caribbean, I couldn’t resist picking up a few bottles to take home and share with friends.
