• Volcan Antisana - Guests will be picked up from their location at 7:00 AM. The National Tour Guide-Driver will ensure all necessary items are ready for the Antisana Reserve Condors Andean Wildlife Day Tour, which is an all-inclusive experience. The journey will proceed to the eastern slope of the Andes Mountains, passing through a charming small village called Pintag. This village retains the rural essence of its people, featuring a main plaza with beautiful colonial architecture, colorful houses, and streets. The stop here will last about forty minutes, providing an opportunity to purchase snacks and fruits if needed.

The drive will continue for approximately one more hour to reach the Chakana viewpoint. Chakana Reserve is a fantastic location for birdwatching, being home to the Andean Condor. There is a significant chance to observe them nesting. Additionally, Chakana Reserve is the habitat of the Andean bear (spectacled bear). This ecosystem is one of the most important wildlife areas in Ecuador.

• Antisana Ecological Reserve - The tour will proceed to La Mica Lake, with opportunities along the road to interpret the local flora and fauna. Visitors may spot the Black-faced Ibis, Carunculated Caracara, Andean Gull, and find excellent spots for memorable and beautiful photos of Antisana Volcano and the Paramo landscape. Upon reaching La Mica, a short hike will be taken along a trail for birdwatching species by the river, lake, and pampa grass. Finally, a 20-minute drive will lead to the local restaurant “Tambo Condor,” where guests can enjoy delicious food served by locals. The tour will conclude with a drive back to Quito, marking the end of the Antisana Reserve Condors Andean Wildlife Day Tour, an all-inclusive experience.
