- Pululahua Volcano & Geobotanical Reserve - The guide will pick up guests from their hotel early in the morning to travel northwest of the city. The first stop is the Pululahua Lookout, one of the few inhabited volcanoes globally. Here, the guide will discuss the volcano’s geological history and the formation of its caldera, now a Geobotanical and Conservation Reserve. After exploring the Pululahua volcano, the group will proceed to a cloud forest area for a short, easy hike to the Rayo waterfall.
- Middle of the World City - Following the waterfall visit, the tour continues to the Alambi Reserve, a haven for bird enthusiasts. This reserve is renowned for its diverse array of hummingbirds, tanagers, and toucans. To conclude the day, the tour will visit the renowned Middle of the World City. During the drive, the guide will share fascinating insights about the equator and the 18th-century French Geodesic Mission that measured it. Upon arrival, guests will have the opportunity to explore the equatorial monument, take the iconic photo with one foot in each hemisphere, and climb the Middle of the World monument. From the top, they can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the entire complex and its surroundings. Inside the monument, a small museum offers insights into Ecuador’s cultural diversity. After the visit, the group will return to the hotel.

We will go to the ‘Middle of the World City’ where you will visit its stores and observe a representation of the colonial era cities in its architecture, we will also observe the monument that divides the northern hemisphere from the southern hemisphere of the planet, where you can take pictures with One foot in each hemisphere. It was built in the 18th century where the French scientific expedition defined the exact position of the Ecuador line that divides the world.
