This Service Made Our Vacation THE BEST - We had a fantastic experience with José from Canelos Transport and could not have asked for a better guide while exploring Ecuador for a few days during Christmas Break. José was super friendly, knowledgeable, and easygoing, which made the long days of sightseeing really enjoyable. On December 20, 2025, José took us to Pululahua Volcano and crater community, the Templo del Sol Museum, both the Museo Intiñan and the Mitad del Mundo Monument at the equator, up the Teleférico cable car for incredible views of Quito and lunch at the restaurant at Cruz Loma, and the Basilica del Voto Nacional. It was a packed day, but everything flowed smoothly and we never felt rushed (but we were tired🫩). On December 21, José already had a prior commitment, but he went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. He arranged for his father to take us for the day and connected us with a guide at Cotopaxi National Park. We climbed Volcán Cotopaxi to Refugio José Rivas (base camp) and had lunch there. On the way out of the park, we stopped at Laguna de Limpiopungo. The coordination was seamless, and we felt comfortable and welcomed the entire trip. On December 22, José took us to Volcán Chimborazo where we climbed to the Whymper Base Camp. On the way back to Quito, we stopped for a late lunch at Mirador de los Volcanes Cotopaxi where I tried guinea pig (much to the horror of my son, who used to have them as pets!). It was a memorable moment for sure😄. Overall, José with Canelos Transport was reliable, flexible, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a wonderful experience. We saw so much in just a few days and learned a lot along the way. Our family highly recommends using José with Canelos Transport if you are looking for a stress-free, well-organized, and fun way to explore Ecuador.

Transportation service - Very good driver and Guide, excellent person. Very friendly and knows all the city of Quito and its surroundings. He was my driver for 5 days in Quito, at all times he was available. Service prices were favorable and affordable.
