- TeleferiQo Teleferico Quito - A wonderful way to begin exploring Quito City is by visiting the Teleferico, offering the best panoramic view of the capital. The Private and Personalized Quito Day Tour commences from your hotel at 9:00 AM. A private vehicle and a bilingual national guide will pick you up and take you to the cable car located in the north-western part of Quito. The journey takes about twenty minutes. Upon arrival, you’ll take the cable car up to 4,050 meters (13,200 feet), where hiking trails, the swing of the clouds, and the flora and fauna of the Andes Mountains await as part of this exciting adventure.
- Basilica del Voto Nacional - This is the finest example of neo-Gothic architecture in Quito. The guide will provide an explanation of the building’s exterior, and you’ll have the opportunity to ascend the towers. From there, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of Quito’s Old Town and other notable landmarks of the city.
- Quito Old Town - A well-preserved historic center in South America. The Independence Square, monuments, Catholic buildings showcasing various art styles, paintings, sculptures, museums, and colonial houses are all part of this heritage. A walking tour with our specialized guide offers the best chance to gain a deeper understanding of the city’s and country’s history. We will recommend some excellent lunch options at different restaurants featuring local cuisine.
- Intinan Museum - The primary aim of the Intiñan Museum is to preserve the ancestral worldview and ethnological habitat of Mitad del Mundo. Fascinating experiments will help you understand the effects at the equator line. NOTE: Please bring your passport if you wish to receive a special stamp of the Equator line.

Wonderful day in Quito - We had a wonderful day with ‘Pato’ who brought us to a local fruit and vegetable market to taste the local fruits, went after to the cable car, then to the Basilica see the view up the stairs, had lunch to a really nice restaurant facing the Presidential square. We then went to a chocolate tasting in an artisanal factory and finished the day at a local market. Needless to say it was an amazing day. I really recommend using this tour operator to get a wonderful experience in Quito!!

A perfect day touring different areas of Quito - My husband and recently had a fantastic day touring several areas with Pato. Pre trip communications were efficient and we paid in advance which was nice. Pato picked us up in Mindo and we ended with a drop off at the airport. This was such a perfect day. Pato is so kind and professional. He pretty much knows everything about Quito's history, geology, flora, fauna, culture, etc., such a wealth of information.
We visited the equator, caldera, cable ride, and old town quito. Pato had everything arranged and paid for and kept us safe and comfortable the entire time. This was comforting as we had all our belongings in his vehicle.
We enjoyed a lovely late lunch together in Old Town Independence Square before doing more walking around the historical town. By the time we were dropped off, we felt like we had another member of the family. Thank you for a beautiful day!

Fantastic day in and around Quito - Great day that far exceeded our expectations. Plato was very knowledgeable about flora, fauna, culture and history of both Quito and Equator. The best tour guide we have had in five weeks of touring in Peru and Equador! Bonus trip to hummingbird site and National Cathedral!

Colorful itinerary - The itinerary was very reasonably tight, with a tour of famous landmarks, the Equator Museum and a lot to learn; a ride up the hill, a visit to the Old Town and three churches, and a guided tour of Quito's historical background. The lunch shop is a small three-story building with sentimental features and delicious taste. It rained heavily during the afternoon visit, and the tour guide was kind enough to bring coats from the car. Drivers on each leg of the trip are seamless and organized.

The best tours by veteran guides - I signed up for a private tour at 2026.5.
I wanted to take a picture of the sunset and the illuminated city from a hill in Penecillo,
I went on the tour at night because of the insecurity.
He also told me before the trip that he wanted to go to Voto Cathedral and the top of the mountain by cable car, so he would make his own schedule and show me how to do it.
When it came to completing the tour in eight hours and seeing the night view, the Equatorial Museum wanted to go on its own in the morning and have a tour from 12pm to 8pm.
Mr. Galindo was very kind and a veteran guide.
They explained the cathedral in detail, showed us a number of the best locations on the street a short distance away with views of Penecillo and Voto, and suggested delicious chocolate parfaits at a restaurant with some of our best views.
I was feeling a little bit low that morning, with the rain forecast in the afternoon, but Galindo tactfully suggested we go around the cable car first. Thanks to this, I was able to see the beautiful blue sky from the summit.
Miraculously, it didn’t rain, we were able to take photos of the night view, and we had a very meaningful time in the car, talking about Ecuadorian jobs, salaries, travelers, hospitals, insurance, and so on.
I am very grateful and very satisfied.
Thank you‼︎

Pamela was very friendly... - Pamela was very friendly and knowledgeable. She spoke excellent English and was keen to customize the day to reflect our interests and ensure we did not repeat anything we’d covered on a previous tour. We had a great day particularly enjoying the visit to the old city.

Great experience - We had the best time with Pato, our tour guide. When he arrived to pick us up, we wanted to make some changes to the itinerary because we had already seen some of the stops. He happily adjusted the entire day. The highlight was the private hummingbird preserve. I’ve never seen so many hummingbirds. Wanted empanadas for lunch and he took us to his favorite local place and it was fantastic. One of the best tour guides we’ve ever had.
