Solo Traveler Approved - I booked a tour in Quito through Expedia just a couple of hours before it started, and I couldn’t have had a better experience. My guide, Stefy, sent me a detailed WhatsApp message ahead of time that made it super easy to find her, which immediately put me at ease. From the start, she was friendly, welcoming, and made me feel like I was in great hands. She explained the history clearly and knowledgeably, but also kept everything fun and engaging. One of the highlights was getting to taste delicious traditional foods, desserts, and drinks along the way — such a great way to experience the local culture. As a solo traveler, I was honestly a bit skeptical about joining a last-minute tour without researching reviews first. But Stefy’s warmth and professionalism quickly erased any doubts. The group atmosphere was so comfortable that I even made a new friend — another solo traveler on the tour. Overall, an amazing experience. I give both the tour and Stefy a 10/10 and would absolutely recommend her to anyone visiting Quito.

A lot of history and sweets - I enjoyed Esteffi, and how she shared so much of Ecuador's history. She brought a lot of the culture out, and looked out for us on the streets of Quito. I would so much of Quito.

Best food tour in Quito - I had a fantastic food tour in Quito with Edwin and would highly recommend him. I ended up being the only guest, so it became a private tour, which was a real bonus. Edwin’s English is excellent and he’s extremely knowledgeable about Quito’s history, culture, and food scene. He explained things clearly and thoughtfully, and I learned a lot beyond just the food. He was also very attentive to my food preferences and allergies, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and well cared for. The pace was great, the food was delicious, and the tour felt personal rather than scripted. If you’re looking for a food tour that combines great local insight with flexibility and genuine care, Edwin is an excellent choice.

Walking Tour with Kevin - We landed in Quito after a sleepless red eye flight and decided to hit the ground running with a walking food tour. It turned out to be a wonderful decision, we got to meet our guide Kevin who showed us around Quito’s old town while sampling food and learning about Quito’s rich history. Kevin was a charming guide while entertained us with stories and historical facts. We tasted chocolate, jam, coffee, empanadas, and candy. Overall it was a great introduction to Quito with a knowledgeable guide.

A great way to experience the historic center of Quito! - Daniel was a fantastic guide! Knowledgeable about the city and its history and the various sites around the historic old town. We loved our tastings which included a wonderful chocolate tasting , great empanadas, and a visit to a great store with food producers from around Ecuador. It was a great way to walk and experience the city- and enjoy some great treats. Highly recommend it.

Great afternoon in Quito! - Great tour - learned about Quito’s history with humor and tasted chocolate, wines, jams, etc. Daniel was a great guide. 4 hour walking tour with rest stops. Interesting architecture and felt safe. We had a 12 hour layover in Quito and Ubered into Quito for the tour and then had dinner there.

Historical walking tour of old town with food tastings - I had a private tour as I was the only participant. Kevin has a detailed knowledge of the history of the buildings and the cultural aspects of Ecuador. The tour was a great introduction to Quito’s centre, the people and the food. Chocolate tasting was interesting.
