Into the Heart of the Cloud Forest

As the sun began to rise over Quito, I found myself eagerly anticipating the day’s adventure into the Mindo Cloud Forest. The promise of exploring one of the last remnants of the Choco Darien Region was too enticing to resist. At precisely 8:00 AM, our guide, Pato, arrived to whisk us away on this journey.
