Delightful cooking experience - If you want to learn how to cook some vietnamese cuisine, this is a good tour. Conveniently located very close to the Bến Thành market, you can save the time of going to and from the market.
The workshop is at Tung's kitchen. Even if you mistakenly visit Hoang's kitchen, let clerks know that you are there for workshop, and you will be guided to Tung's kitchen. You select 3 from 9 options and free coffee. In my case, the workshop already prepared all ingredients and you can thus opt not to visit the market. However, I recommend that you visit the market as part of this workshop to see this market from a different perspective. Drink in thr market is also included, and you can opt not to drink.
Most part of cooking is done by a chef, so you will only engage in limited part of cooking : like cutting carrots and meat. You can further join more parts (like cooking pho noodle) and I do recommend you volunteer for them. After the workshop, you will get a recipe file for your 3 selected cuisine.
And the best part of the workshop is to savor my work in the workshop. Undisturbed by customers below (workshop is at 3rd floor), you will enjoy calm and delightful moment with others while eating what you cooked.

The most fabulous cooking experience! Oanh was amazing! - Oanh was amazing! We booked this cooking class late the night before and went first thing the next morning. It was just the 2 of us, so we had a private class.
Oanh looked after us the whole time - she met us at the door and guided us through the whole experience. She took us to the market and interpreted our whole cooking class with the head chef. Learning to make the 3 delicious dishes we chose was incredible but the stories behind the food were even more fascinating.
Oanh went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable.
Thank you Oanh!

Fun Asian cooking experience - It’s for anyone who likes food! Not just people who like cooking. Teaches you lots about the food and Jack the manager and Thieu the chef are really nice people who deliver the morning in a relaxed and fun way.

Such a fun experience. You will cook a feast! - Our cooking class in Ho Chi Minh City was an absolute highlight of our trip! From the bustling Ben Thanh market visit to the hands-on cooking experience, every moment was engaging and authentic. We learned so much about Vietnamese cuisine and the techniques behind creating those incredible flavors. Even better, our translator, Thao, was phenomenal! She didn't just translate the instructions, she also provided insights into the culture and ingredients, making the experience incredibly rich and enjoyable. I can't recommend this class enough for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in Vietnamese food.

Fabulous Vietnamese cooking experience - Noah and the chef Quyet were the perfect hosts for our cooking experience. After choosing our dishes we wanted to cook, Noah took us for a tour of the local market, he shared his knowledge and stories of daily Vietnamese life. We stopped on the way for a freshly made sugarcane and kumquat drink to keep us refreshed. Once back we met Chef Quyet who guided us on our meal prep and cooking. It was such a delightful experience, and we look forward to remaking these dishes back in our home country. After the cooking finished we got to sit down and enjoy the delicious foods, followed by a lovely ice cold coconut coffee. We definitely recommend booking this experience.

Cookery school. - Chef Quyet and Noah
Spent a lovely morning with both men cooking 3 dishes.
One dish nicer than the other you pick the dishes you want to cook the day before.
Went to market that morning to buy ingredients for cooking. Very busy place.
Atmosphere very relaxed during cooking! I was even taught how to use chopsticks.
Highly recommend!

Excellent Cooking Class in Vietnam - I really like Vietnamese food. My friends introduced me to the cooking class at Hoang's Kitchen restaurant. This was an interesting experience for me.
The staff here are very friendly. They guided me very dedicatedly and enthusiastically. One thing I really like is Vietnamese stories about food, it's really good.
The dish I learned today seems a bit difficult to me because it is different from the dishes I cook at home. But it's clearly still an experience I cherish and love. The food I made was delicious but perhaps not as delicious as the staff who made it. I will still practice, I believe I will be able to cook that well
A fun class and learned a lot. Recommend!

Highlight of the trip - We started with a market tour, where our knowledgeable chef guided us through the local produce and helped us select the freshest ingredients. Back at the restaurant, we embarked on a three-course cooking adventure. The dishes were incredibly flavorful, and the instructor made the process enjoyable and easy to follow.
He is incredibly enthusiastic and hospitable. His infectious laughter and deep knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine made the experience even more memorable If you're looking to immerse yourself in local culture and cuisine, this class is a must-do. Highly recommended!"
