In the afternoon, cycle around Tan Thach village, meet local villagers, and experience daily life in the Mekong Delta. For those not cycling, relax in a hammock and enjoy the cool breeze.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City, concluding the journey.

GADT and Carl are simply awesome - GADT is a top notch travel agency and the support we received from Carl - their travel agent- was nothing short of a personal red glove service. Right from personalizing the entire itinerary, making changes to the plans and pricing to actual execution including but not limited to arranging cars, drivers, English speaking guides and dealing with last minute emergencies - Carl was available every minute of the day (and night) over a quick call and message. He checked in regularly, responded promptly and was utmost professional. He also came and met us in HaNoi gave us wonderful gifts since he is based out of HaNoi. I can't praise GADT and Carl enough. Beautiful country, great people, wonderful memories, 9 awesome days... All of this enabled by Carl and GADT.

Most organised trip you could ask for - Everything was so perfectly planned and timed that we didn’t have to think about logistics at all. We were able to fully enjoy every visit with our guide, who was absolutely superb with their knowledge and hospitality.

Memorable experience - I enjoyed this tour a lot. Pickup Was on time. Booking was smooth and easy. I was informed about the pickup and the flow of the tour well in advance. The bus was clean and the driver was good too. I felt safe. I was over one of the best experiences travelling with Gradt Travel.

Authentic Mekong Delta experience - It was an excellent experience right from the beginning. The operator was proactive in following up with us to ensure we reached the right place from which the tour would start. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We got to see how coconut candy was manufactured, taste a bit of the coconut candy, taste snake wine, travel in a bamboo boat along a tributary of the Mekong Delta, feed the fish, feed the crocodiles (one has to pay extra for this), visit a honey farm and sample the honey, listen to a folk song sung by the locals (this was really beautiful) and visit a nearby Pagoda which had three fascinating statues of a laughing buddha, reclining buddha and a female buddha.
Overall the tour took about 9 hours to complete and was well worth the experience. We are glad that we chose to do the Mekong Delta full day tour instead of clubbing it along with Cu Chi tunnels as that would have been really tiring. A full day tour allows you to experience the Mekong Delta at a leisurely pace.
This tour run by GADT travels is very well organized and highly recommended for travellers.

To do - The excursion is very nice and very varied and very fun! We eat fruit, honey, play music... The Mekong Delta is magnificent and should be done without any hesitation! I just wish the boat ride lasted more than 15 minutes! Otherwise go there with your eyes closed
