Day 1: Ha Giang Jeep Tour - Pac Sum Pass - Heaven Gate - Lung Tam Village - Yen Minh - Hmong King Palace - Dong Van Town

Quan Ba Heaven Gate - The Ha Giang Jeep Tour begins at 8:00 am from the office in Ha Giang City, where the tour itinerary will be briefly outlined before departure.

On the first day, the Ha Giang Jeep Tours Team driver will guide participants through some of the most stunning scenery, featuring spectacular landscapes and breathtaking views. Just 10 minutes outside the city, the Jeep will navigate into the mountains and winding roads, offering stunning views of the beautiful mountains. The first notable pass is Pac Sum Pass, with an altitude over 1000m, where the temperature noticeably cools. Here, there will be a stop to enjoy the panoramic view of the vast valley and the villages along the mountainside, before continuing to Heaven Gate to witness the most spectacular landscape of the first day.

Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - After taking in the view from Pac Sum Pass, the journey continues in an open-air Jeep through limestone mountains and villages, offering beautiful scenery. Upon arrival at Heaven Gate, participants will be amazed by the landscape and the vast, deep valley. After enjoying the view, the riders will descend into the valley to visit the hidden village of Lung Tam, home to the Dao Minority people, where there will be an opportunity to visit a local family.

The Jeep Tour proceeds past Quang Ba to the town of Tam Son, where the impressive rock limestone mountains mark the beginning of the Karst Plateau Geopark. Lunch will be at a viewpoint, offering a chance to admire the beautiful terraced rice paddies.

Dong Van - After lunch, the tour continues to Dong Van. Along the way, the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, a significant geoheritage site in Vietnam, showcases terraced rice fields, limestone rocks, and magnificent views. Hidden villages in the valley reveal the rural life of northern Vietnam. The riders will also visit the famous northernmost viewpoint in Vietnam. Before reaching Dong Van Town, there will be a stop at the residence of the Vuong family, known as the “Hmong King Palace.” The journey then continues to Dong Van Town, where there will be free time to explore and an overnight stay.

Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Meo Vac - Yen Minh - Ha Giang City - Night Sleeper Bus Back to Hanoi

Ma Pi Leng Pass - After breakfast at 8:30 am, the Jeep Tour resumes along Happy Road, offering a chance to see Ha Giang’s most spectacular landscapes, including the renowned Ma Pi Leng Pass. This area is known for its breathtaking views from the road and panoramic viewpoints, overlooking a vast valley and the Nho Que River below. This pass is often considered the most beautiful part of the loop. There will be a stop at the viewpoint to enjoy the panoramic view of the river and valley before continuing to the next beautiful location.

Meo Vac - After visiting Ma Pi Leng Pass, the open-air Jeep will drive through Meo Vac town and continue to the famous viewpoint known as M Road. The Jeep will take backroads to reveal more of the landscape, then proceed to the small town of Mau Due for lunch and relaxation before heading back to Ha Giang City.

Ha Giang Province - After lunch, the journey continues in the open-air Jeep, with many beautiful scenes still to be seen. The Jeep will take a shortcut back to Yen Minh town, then proceed to Can Ty Pass and Quang Ba. After a 4-hour drive, the tour will return to Ha Giang City around 5 pm, where participants can wait for the bus back to Hanoi or choose to stay in Ha Giang City, as the team bids farewell.
