- 12:30: After crossing Can Ty pass, explore scenic spots, solitary trees, Van Chai cliff, then have lunch in Yen Minh town.
- 13:30: Proceed towards Dong Van to visit: Tham Ma pass, Pho Cao village, Sung La valley, Lung Cam cultural village rich in H’Mong ethnic culture, “Pao’s house”, Tam Giac Mach field, Moon rock field in Sa Phin village.
- 16:30: Tour the Vuong family mansion (King of the Hmong people).
- 18:00: Check into hotel or homestay and relax.
- 19:30: Dinner, followed by a leisurely stroll around Dong Van old town to savor street food at the night market.
Quan Ba Heaven Gate - Quan Ba Heaven Gate is a remarkable Ha Giang attraction situated 1500m above sea level. It serves as the gateway to the heavenly landscapes of Ha Giang, known for its majestic rock plateau.
Lung Cam Cultural - Tourism Village - Nestled in the narrow, breathtaking Sung La Valley is Lung Cam village. Recognized as a ‘cultural tourist village’ by local authorities, its highlight, besides the stunning scenery, is a century-old traditional Hmong house. This adobe structure, with a stone-paved courtyard, was once an opium emporium and recently featured in a Vietnamese film.
Lung Cam is 25km west of Dong Van. Without personal transport, you can catch any bus connecting Dong Van and Tam Son.
Pao’s House - Pao’s house is a renowned H’Mong residence featured in the film “Story of Pao.” The building retains its ancient charm amidst the vast and magnificent Dong Van rocky plateau. With its cultural and architectural significance, Pao’s House is a must-visit in Ha Giang, Vietnam.
Dinh Vua Meo - Visit the Vuong family mansion (King of the Hmong people): Here, you can truly appreciate the life and culture of the H’Mong people. In the late afternoon, under the day’s last sunlight, experience the architectural blend of three cultures: H’Mong, French, and Chinese.
DONG VAN TT – MA LE - CHINESE BORDER - LUNG CU FLAG POLE – NORTHERN POLE POINT - MA PI LEG Pass – MEO VAC Town
Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - 8:30 am: After breakfast, depart for Lung Cu flagpole, the northernmost point of Vietnam, near the Chinese border.
- Visit Lo Lo Chai cultural village.
- Explore the Northernmost point in Vietnam, a unique location on Vietnam’s S-shaped map, 3km from the Valley Cu flagpole.
- 13:30: After lunch, travel the legendary Happiness Road, the majestic Ma Pi Leng Pass, and the beautiful Nho Que River.
- Checkpoints: Ma Pi Leng monument, the challenging road to Death Rock, walk on the Sky path to view the entire scene at the pass’s foot. Enjoy panoramic views and several scenic spots at the pass’s summit.
- 15:00: Take a boat on Nho Que River to witness the highest Tu San canyon in Southeast Asia, a natural masterpiece.
- 17:30: Check in and stay at Pa Vi H’mong cultural village.
- 19:30: Dinner, with free time for sightseeing or a small party at your Homestay with grilled food and some beer.

PAVI village – MEO VAC TOWN – MAU DUE – LUNG HO – DU GIA village
Du Gia - Du Gia is a tranquil village in Ha Giang, mostly visited by travelers completing the Ha Giang loop in 5 days or more. The village is renowned for its peaceful and pristine beauty, surrounded by majestic mountains and rice paddies. The local people are exceptionally hospitable and friendly.
Thâm Luông Waterfall - Visit the Du Gia Waterfall: Located 5 kilometers from town, there’s a small waterfall with inviting pools for swimming. The road is rugged but worthwhile, with stunning scenery along the short walk to the pools.
DU GIA – DUONG THUONG village LUNG TAM – LÙNG KHUY cave -QUAN BA – HA GIANG city
Lùng Tám - 8:30 am: After breakfast, depart back to Ha Giang city.
- Along the way, stop to admire and visit beautiful scenes: the Duong Thuong valley, Lung Tam weaving village.
- Visit Lung Khuy cave in Quan Ba district.
- Enjoy lunch at Tam Son town - Quan Ba and return to Ha Giang city around 5:00 p.m., shower, and rest at a hostel or homestay.
Lung Khuy Cave - Lung Khuy cave developed in limestone formed in the ancient sea over 400 million years ago. The surrounding area features a peak cluster-depression karst landscape with cones, dolines, hanging valleys, travertine terraces, etc., on a planation surface at 850-1100m asl. The cave follows a northwest-southeast fault with long and large rooms, few branches, and amazing speleothems of various forms, such as King’s column, stone lion, nine-cascade waterfall, or girls’ silk-like hairs. Visitors may also hear the melody of water droplets falling from the cave ceiling. Notably, there is a legendary “Fairy’s well” inside the cave. During holidays and festivals, people from near and far visit to ask for water, pray for good weather, good crops, good health, happiness, and children as they wish.
