Designated a World heritage Site in 2012, it is the most popular tourist attraction in Rabat and houses both Roman ruins and a medieval Muslim necropolis. Abandoned in 1154 and damaged further by the Lisbon earthquake in 1755 it is an overgrown and atmospheric site adorned by storksâ nests, and a fascinating place to meander around.

Moroccan restaurant European atmosphere - Hello, If you are looking for a cozy, clean, welcoming restaurant in the center of Rabat: Le Créma, Avenue Mohamed V. It is the avenue between Rabat city station and the medina. Attention: not easy to find as it is in a patio on the left in the avenue ascending towards the station about 30 meters from the beginning of the avenue.
