Rabat – Fez

Moulay Idriss - Enjoy breakfast before continuing to Moulay Idriss and Volubilis, the ancient Roman city ruins, then proceed to Meknes. Discover the city with Morocco’s most beautiful gate, Bab El Mansour El Aleuj, the storage vault, horse stables, and the Medina with its grand mosque. Meknes, often referred to as the Moroccan Versailles, was a favored residence of Moroccan rulers alongside neighboring Fez for centuries. The region is also known for its excellent wine. Continue to Fes for dinner and an overnight stay.

Fez

Fes - After breakfast, embark on a journey to explore Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities. Visit the three distinct neighborhoods: El Jedid, Fes El Bali, and the Neustadt. Marvel at the impressive walls surrounding the historic city. Key attractions include the Batha Palace, now a museum of 19th-century crafts, the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Karaouine Mosque, the tomb of Moulay Idriss II (the revered founder of Fes), and the lively pottery district.

Fez – Ouzoud

Ouzoud - After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through the charming towns of Ifrane and Azrou. Visit the enchanting cedar forest, home to delightful Barbary monkeys. Continue to Ouzoud, a captivating destination featuring North Africa’s tallest waterfalls at 110 meters. Explore the falls from various viewpoints, enjoying the stunning scenery. Take some leisure time to stroll around, soaking in the peaceful surroundings, and perhaps spot macaque monkeys in their natural habitat.

Ouzoud – Marrakech

Marrakech - Begin your day with breakfast and a scenic drive through the picturesque valleys of the High Atlas Mountains, where you’ll encounter vast expanses of fruit trees. Head towards the enchanting city of Marrakesh, known as the “red city.” During lunch, enjoy free time to explore the city at your own pace. If desired, use a car to visit beautiful gardens, take a half-day tour of Marrakech, or enjoy a memorable camel ride through the tranquil palm groves.

Take a journey to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou and Ouarzazate for an unforgettable day excursion.

High Atlas Mountains - Begin your journey from Marrakech towards the majestic High Atlas Mountains, passing through a charming Berber village. Ascend to the refreshing altitude of 2260 meters at Tizin Tishka, where you’ll be captivated by the mesmerizing colors of the rocks. Enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of the mountains and immerse yourself in their splendor.

Telouet Kasbah - Continue the journey to explore the Kasbah of Telouat, an ancient fortress once home to the Glaoui Pacha. After a delightful lunch, proceed to the second Valley of Ounila and arrive at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Although visiting the families residing there is not possible, you may recognize this location from famous films like Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and the Prince of Persia. Just 29 km from Ouarzazate, there’s a cinema studio where many movies have been filmed. After capturing the stunning beauty of Ouarzazate, conclude the day and return to Marrakech.
