My brother and I took a... - My brother and I took a guided tour of Rabat with Mohamed and it was an amazing experience of the city. We saw and learned about key sites like the Hassan Tower and Mohammad V mausoleum, Kasbah des Oudaias and Andalusian Gardens, and the Medina. Each stop on our tour Mohamed provided a wealth of historical information on the site and its relevance and importance today. We asked a lot of questions too and Mohamed answered all our questions happily and with great additional details. His tour was engaging and exciting, he also added stories or details about daily life in Rabat and Morocco so we could have a full picture of the city in the past and today. We really enjoyed our time on the tour and it was well paced, we did not feel rushed our tired by all the stops and information. Mohamed was particularly knowledgeable about the various Moroccan dynasties that shaped the city and their impacts in all the historic sites we stopped at. We loved the tour and would highly recommend for those spending their first days in Rabat to understand key places and activities in the city!

Great walking tour featuring history, culture and beauty of Rabat - Excellent experience thanks to our friendly knowledgeable guide, Mohammed. We arrived early for a 2 week tour of Morocco and I had this walking tour planned as an introduction to Rabat- it was a perfect morning walk despite some light rain to see the beauty of Rabat, before hardly any crowds were upon the city. Mohammad was so friendly, smiling as he warmly greeted us and friends we encountered along the way, excellent English, energetic to share his country’s many cultural sites and progressive attitudes . We learned so much within a few hours. Rabat can be characterized as a “ white city”. It is a beautiful city with a scale of buildings 5-6 stories high, not dominated by high rises. We were so impressed by the beautiful Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the new developments along the river, the Kasbah with its charming houses, perched high on the edge of the Atlantic , the old Portuguese fortress defending it against pirates. Then a walk through the Medina is great fun and a saunter in the lovely Andalusian garden. On the cultural side, we learned that the King is highly respected and loved, Morocco has the 2 nd longest monarchy in history (Japan the first!); that women’s rights and achievements are impressive as women have a access to education and work in professional and political roles , it seems there exists a progressive interpretation of Muslim religion as it affects civil life . It was a privilege to have the opportunity to be able to listen and talk with a guide who was so knowledgeable, educated and genuine in his insights into contemporary life as well as gain the the historical perspective.

Informative and a very pleasant walk around a beautiful city - This was a wonderful way to see the top sites of Rabat and to learn about the important history and sites. Our guide Mohammed was so knowledgeable and thorough in his details. He took us everywhere from the mausoleum to the Kasbah and medina. It was a great way to spend the morning soaking up the beautiful city. Rabat is not to be overlooked and has so much beautiful art to enjoy. Our guide even recommended a great spot for lunch at the end. We really enjoyed our time with him.

Great Intro to Rabat - We arrived in Rabat a day before we start a 10 day tour of Morocco. Even though our tour will include the historic area, we wanted to get an advance look so that we could spend more time visiting this area. It was perfect. Our guide, Hamid, was excellent and we were able to visit the Mausoleum, the Kasbah and the Medina at a leisurely pace. Our guide was particularly helpful in adapting the tour to our needs so we use taxi’s to get between the various sights (our expense) but the cost was not the issue. We ended up being able to see more within the allotted 3 hour tour.

Wonderful time in Rabat and Marakech - We had an amazing trip. Our guide was Habib. He was very knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. He spoke very good English, which was an added advantage. He went out of his way, and managed to take the car and drop us inside the King's palace as I had a very bad leg pain that day. Rabat is beautiful, clean and very modern city. Our tour was arranged by Abduo. And we enjoyed a lot. Thanks to our tour operator and his guide. We also did Marakech, Casablancaetc. Also, whenever we had any problems, our tour operator Abduo was always available on the other side of the phone. Thank you
