Fabulous food experience - Our guide was excellent and fun. Our "tastings" were plentiful and very varied. We love getting to taste foods that the locals eat on a daily basis vs. tajines, tajines and more tajines! All in all an excellent experience I'd recommend to those who are open to new flavors and not afraid to try things that are different.

Come Hungry! - This was our highlight in Rabat! Mohammed was a fantastic guide. Do NOT eat beforehand- you will be stuffed! I think we had about 7 different stall stops in the medina before an (I kid you not) 10 course dinner, followed by tea and dessert at a different location. Come hungry! Everything is delicious that you will not want to pace yourself. A highlight and would definitely recommend!

Medina Street food with Mohamed - Meet in front of the train station in downtown Rabat. Mohammed was great! Very personable, provided cultural information as well as funny stories. We felt well taken care of. Dinner was great! We NEVER would have found the location without Mohamed! Mohammed was great company and even ordered our UBER back to the hotel. Only negative....a few too many desserts BEFORE dinner. Thanks Mohammed for a fun evening!

A private tour of Morocco’s culture from the perspective of a local. - Mohamed allowed us to experience the streets, people, and food of Morocco that only someone who grew up in the area could provide. Loved every sight, smell, and taste as we walked the old town of Rabat. Highly recommend!!!!

Fabulous Food Tour with Mohammad! - We had a wonderful culinary journey in the Rabat Madina! Mohammad introduced us to a variety of foods, including from stalls run by generations of a family specializing in a particular food. We finished by having a delicious traditional meal in a restaurant tucked away in the Medina. We went on beautiful side streets we would have never found on our own. Highly recommended!!

Best Food Tour Ever! - Mohamed is the most charming, generous & knowledgeable guide! Walking through the medina with him was the perfect way to learn about Moroccan culture as we stopped by small shops & food stalls to sample local produce, drinks & sweets. To our surprise, after several varied & delicious small bites, we enjoyed a full sit down traditional break the fast Ramadan meal. As if that wasn’t enough, the evening ended at small cafe by the water, gazing at the Casbah, drinking mint tea & eating cookies from the traditional bakery Mohamed’s Mom says are”almost as good as hers.”

BOOK IT!! - Mohammed was an excellent guide for the 4 of us. He gave us some history of Morocco as we walked, and once we were in the Medina, he turned exclusively to discussing food/culture. Each of the 6 stops was unique, and while I couldn't bring myself to taste the steamed cow's head meat, I enjoyed everything else. After the 6 "bites," we sat down to a full lunch, also delicious. He walked us toward the Kasbah and ordered coffee for us. We tipped him, he left, and we lingered with the other couple. When we left, we felt we had sampled genuine Moroccan foods and knew a bit more about the culture. HIGHLY recommend this tour.

Come hungry! - This food tour was so much fun. Iman was our guide and she gave us a lot of information about the culture and history of Morocco. We sampled a lot of food and it was all delicious. We had bread, soup, olives, dates, 3 different tagines, cookies, and a couple of other foods. We were stuffed and really loved walking through the Medina. If you have time, don’t miss this tour!

Don't miss this one! - Our guide Mohammed was brilliant - excellent English, really friendly and really enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge. We tried seven different local foods including bread, yoghurt and snacks we would never have found on our own and then had a lovely two course meal with live music in the courtyard of an old house which is now a restaurant hidden deep in the medina. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Go hungry - Thank you Imane for showing us around the Medina and giving us an insight into your life in Rabat. We had a varied selection of foods as we wandered around the Medina and a meal at a restaurant which offered starters, tagines and traditional Moroccan tea. There was more food than we could eat and then this was followed by sweet cakes and biscuits.
