Great way of discovering Rabat, it's food, histoy and it's people - We had a truly wonderful walkabout in the Rabat Medina filled with local food. Mohammed, our guide, was great. Besides being a foodie, he has great knowledge on history and speaks fluent English. Can highly recommend this tour. We did this tour during Ramadan which gave it an extra dimension, in a good way.

Great, informative and interesting tour - Mohammed was a very friendly and engaging guide. We tried a good selection of local street food, all of which were very tasty and good quality. We enjoyed the meal in the local restaurant so much that we went back again on our own!

An informative and tasty experience! - Our guide Mohammed very quickly became much more than a guide. He became a friend and we are looking forward to being in touch with him again just on a personal level. Every tasting stop was an absolute treat. And Mohammed was able to answer all of our questions whether they were about the food, the history or any other random query we had. One of our group has mobility issues and Mohammed was very careful to always find him a place to sit whenever needed. The lunch was also delicious and copious and they even packed up some of it to take home and we were able to eat it later for dinner. So, great big thank you to Mohammed and the Rabat Food Tour for a most wonderful day! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wanted to have a personalized tour through the Medina of Rabat and have some delightful tasting experiences along the way.

Excellent way to sample the local food - Our guide, Sarra, was amazing! She took us into the old Medina to sample many local foods, more than we could eat! We wouldn't have known what to try without her. She was also a wealth of information on everything Morocco. We learned about not only the food but also the Moroccan culture and religion, as best learned from a local! She was sweet and enthusiastic and freely answered any and all of our questions. By the time our tour ended, she felt like family.

Excellent experience with Mohammed - Despite the pouring rain at times we had a wonderful food tour with Mohammed. There was just the two of us so it was really a chance to ask many questions and learn a lot about not only Moroccan food but their culture. We lost track of how many tastings we did as we wound our way through Rabat's Medina. We sampled many delicious sweets, pastries, breads, a soup and even steamed cow head - it was surprisingly delicious (like beef short ribs). The 3 plus hour tour ended with a delightful lunch at a traditional Moroccan restaurant where we sampled even more dishes. Overall an excellent experience all due to Mohammed's knowledge and charming personality.

Excellent food tour! - We loved this tour! There were only 4 of us with the guide. She walked us through the Medina and taught us all about Moroccan culture, habits, and food. The tastings were all delicious… And we had a full meal lunch as well.At the end of the tour, she walked us halfway back to our hotel to ensure that we got there safely without getting lost… We really appreciated how she went out of her way.

Got food poisoning - We had Mohammed as a guide and the weather was lousy - raining, stormy and cold. Wanted to cancel, but could not. It was very last minute - so understandable. We were the only couple on this tour. This put the tour on a bad note, but Mohammed had a good nature about it. It was ok, but I got food poisoning from this tour. It was really bad, had to call the doctor to the hotel. Just beware, some of the food on display may have been there for a long time and not moved.
